This beautiful American Bulldog mix absolutely loves attention — all of it! Pets, walks, treats, playtime, even a quick glance her way makes her whole day. Cassie is happiest when she’s with her people and would love nothing more than to devote all her love and energy to her forever family. She came to us as a stray, but from the very first day, her tail hasn’t stopped wagging. Cassie is always up for an adventure and loves meeting new people. What she’s really hoping for now is a family who will love her unconditionally and give her the wonderful life she deserves. Interested in adopting? - High-energy girl who likes to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep her mind and body busy- Very sweet and once she has burned off some energy, she is affectionate and likes to roll around- Knows sit and down- Is quite the strong girl so a harness is ideal for walks- May need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home- May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro required) - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended) - May have allergies (more info at ARL) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
