Forever home needed! Kiowa is a ~6 year old, ~80 lb Malamute/Husky mix. She is very sweet, playful and friendly! Requirements: -Fully fenced yard 6ft+ outside of the city (not available for adoption in King County) -Breed experience Kiowa is a great girl ready to join her active forever family. Kiowa is smart and loves to play! She would make a great adventure buddy. Though she is active, she has a great demeanor and can relax with her people after some activity. Kiowa is playful and would do best with another dog in the home. She does better with males so we are looking for a male dog of like size in the home for her companion! She is used to spending her time in a play yard with other playful huskies! Kiowa is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Ghost! This stunning sweetheart is a playful and loving 5-year-old Malamute mix who is looking for his forever home! Ghost is incredibly friendly, happy and loves to play around outside with his people! He is a leaner and loves pets and attention too. Ghost walks well on leash but can get excited and pull at times. He is large, around 75-80lbs and will need an adopter who can handle his size, strength, and his desire to be cuddled up in your arms! Ghost has done well with other dogs in our care, and actually came from a home where he lived with two other large dogs. He would do well with another large laid back dog in the home or could do fine as an only dog soaking up all of the love and attention. No cats or small animals for him. He will do best in a home where his family is not gone long hours. Ghost is an active dog who will make an AMAZING adventure companion for any lucky outdoorsy family. He would love a home that takes him on many adventures as well as has a large yard for him to run and explore. Although he is a super friendly and cuddly dude, he can be strong and bouncy and needs some work on his overall obedience skills as he has been living in a commercial kennel for some time, so we are recommending an adult only home or a home with kids over the age of 12. He will also require a fence that is at least 6ft tall. Ghost is going to make an incredible addition to any lucky household that adopts him! Ghost is UTD on shots, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SUMMIT has a typical malamute personality.  Independent, smart, playful, and affectionate, but only when he wants to be. He is crate trained, however, if he's left in the crate, for what he considers is too long, he will find a way out.  A large fenced yard for him to run zoomies and burn energy would be ideal.  He enjoys long daily walks where he can explore.  He also loves car rides.  If he could go on a car ride to a place to walk, he would love the adventure.  After the walk, he loves to cuddle and relax with his humans. SUMMIT gets very excited at seeing other dogs as he wants to play, but not all dogs appreciate his enthusiasm.  It may be best that he is in an only dog family.  SUMMIT's furever family should have the time to spend with him, take him on many adventures, and give him lots of pets and attention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.HADES is watching or his new family to come pick him up?  Can you open your heart and home to him? HADES is a sweet and gentle boy who thrives on attention from his humans.   Don't let his looks fool you, he may look more like a cattle dog, but he has the personality of a Malamute! Recently HADES lived in an apartment, but he prefers the quiet country life and is not used to the loud city experiences.  He is Ok with several short walks each day, but a nice scenic walk or hike makes him very happy.  A car ride with the windows cracked is always a great way to start an adventure. HADES knows many commands.  Basic commands like "sit", "down" and "stay".  Loving commands "hug", "kiss" and "cuddle" and fun commands like "dance" and "go through" where he will run through your legs like a tunnel.  He has a large vocabulary that you will enjoy playing with him for hours. Despite his age, he still has a lot of puppy energy and does get along with large dogs.  He may be fine living with another dog, but also would be happy as the only dog in the house, so that he does not need to share his quality time with his human. HADES is currently living with a loving foster family.  He would love his future furever home to be a quiet, relaxing environment for him where he can play, share your bed and feel like he is your number 1 priority. Describing all of HADES great personality traits would take many pages.  If you are interested in learning more about him please contact WAMAL Adoptions.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 31, 2025, 4:25 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PIPPIN is an energetic, playful girl looking for a home that has the time to spend with her and help her grow into a mature adult lady. As a pure bred Alaskan Malamute she shows all the breed characteristics, from sweet and cuddling to the stubborn "I don't hear you" attitude.  PIPPIN enjoys being active with walks, hikes car rides to the river or meeting new friends. Before PIPPIN's current owners adopted her she had no training or manners.  They have been working with her on basic training and already seen great improvement. She is smart and should be able to improve even more with a little deadication.  Since PIPPIN is young everything is new to her which makes her a little shy.  But once she is introduced to a dog or human, she warms up and enjoys playing with them.  She has not had a lot of exposure to children yet, but due to her size and energy it appears she will do well with older, considerate kids. PIPPIN will be a wonderful fur baby to an active family! Please note PIPPIN will not be available for adoption until after her recovery from spayed surgery on October 25, 2024.   Important - Please note.   This dog is being listed by WAMAL but is residing with its owner. FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing Hiro! He is a 3.5-year-old, 100lb Akita, who came to us from an overcroweded shelter in CA. Hiro is an awesome dog who is currently in foster care where he has been able to work on basic obedience, house manners, and being socialized with the world. He walks very well on leash, is treat motivated, and is up for any adventure. He has a calm and mellow personality and is more than fine walking/sitting around observing the world with you. We are looking for an adopter with large breed experience and a standalone home with a yard for him.
