Story
Hello! My name is Yobi and I’m a 2-year-old male Husky weighing 20 kg (44 lbs). With my stunning Husky looks and playful personality, I’m sure to steal your heart! I’m full of love and affection, always ready to show off my playful and charming side. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy making new friends, both furry and human. When I see people come and go, I sometimes let out a signature Husky howl to say, “Don’t forget about me!” I’m energetic and love outdoor adventures. While I can pull a bit on the leash during walks, I calm down quickly and walk nicely once I’ve burned off some of my excitement. I’m also very food-motivated and will happily accept treats from anyone, making it easy to become fast friends. Because I’m a true Husky at heart, I’d love to be adopted by someone familiar with the breed and its unique traits. My high energy and lively personality are part of my charm, but I need someone who can keep up with me and understand my needs. I love to play and often express my desire for attention with high energy, but that’s just my way of saying, “Let’s have fun together!” Above all, I crave love and connection with my humans and promise to be a loyal, affectionate companion. Are you ready to share your life with a fun, energetic, and lovable Husky? I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together! 🐾

Quick Facts  Name: Duke Age: Under 2 years old (estimated) Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Alaskan Malamute Color: White & Black Weight: 23 kg Height: 60–70 cm (shoulder height when standing) Microchip Number: 410 097 800 546 264 Health History Treatments: Tested negative for 4DX, Treated for Giardia with prescribed medication on December 5, 2024. All About Me Hello, future family! My name is Duke, and I’m a young Alaskan Malamute with a heart as big as my paws. My journey started with a little hardship, but I’ve come so far, and I’m ready to share my playful, loving nature with someone special—maybe you! Personality I’m the kind of dog who makes friends wherever I go. Whether it’s a stranger or someone I’ve known for a while, I love to greet everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle nuzzle. My favorite way to show affection is to roll over and let you rub my belly—sometimes even on our very first meeting! Despite my size, I have a sweet, goofy charm that makes me hard to resist. People say I’m like the lovable class clown because I always manage to bring smiles to everyone around me. My Energy Level & Walks Exploring the outdoors is my favorite thing to do! Walks are a chance for me to stretch my legs and satisfy my curiosity. Sometimes, I get so excited about all the new smells and sights that I might pull on the leash a bit, but with a little guidance, I know I’ll get better. I’m also great in the car—I can hop in and out on my own and settle down quietly during the ride. Whether it’s a trip to the park or a weekend adventure, I’m always ready to go! Life at Home At home, I’m a sweet and loving companion. I’m happy to use indoor pads or go outside for bathroom breaks, but I’ll count on you to keep my space tidy so I can avoid any accidental messes. I’m curious about everything, especially things on counters or shelves, so you might catch me sneaking a peek at what’s up there! I’m always up for mealtime and treats—it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. I’m polite when it comes to sharing food and toys, but I’m very enthusiastic about eating, so feeding time is always an exciting event for me! One of my quirks is that I like to talk in my own special way. Whether it’s a little howl to say hello when you come home or a playful “woof” to ask for attention, I just love expressing myself. My Ideal Home I dream of a home filled with love, activity, and understanding. Here’s what I’m hoping for in my forever family: Active Lifestyle: I thrive with plenty of outdoor time, walks, and adventures. Gentle Patience: I’m still learning the ropes, and with your guidance, I’ll be the best companion ever. Companionship: I adore being around people and will happily keep you company wherever you go. Last Message If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, I might be the perfect fit for you. Let’s start this amazing journey together—I can’t wait to meet you! With love and tail wags,Duke  Videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb0x-MWUe-0&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jxw2A9wUxhLxBOlewgf2iu- ##2256505##

Story
Quick Facts Name: Bruce Age: 6 years old approximate  Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Alaskan Malamute  Color: Black & White  Weight: 32kg  All About Me Bruce is a four-year-old Alaskan Malamute weighing 32kg. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and is ready to find his forever home. He was found as a stray and ended up in a city pound, but despite having a microchip, no one came for him. He was at risk of euthanasia before being rescued and has now been waiting in a shelter for over a year. Hot and humid summers in Korea have been challenging for him, and he would thrive in a home where he can stay comfortable and cool. He is affectionate and enjoys meeting people, often leaning in for pets and belly rubs. He also tolerates grooming well but sheds heavily, as expected for his breed. Personality and Social Skills Bruce is friendly and social, approaching both familiar and unfamiliar people with ease. He enjoys attention and does not mind being handled, including being picked up under his belly. He is especially gentle with children under 13 and appreciates their company. With other dogs, he is generally well-mannered. He greets new dogs politely but does not always engage in play. If another dog initiates conflict, he may respond, so introductions to unfamiliar dogs should be handled with care. His response to cats is unknown, as he has not been tested around them. Energy and Activities Bruce has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities but settles down calmly afterward. He walks well on a leash, though he may pull at times. He is confident in urban environments and is not easily startled by sudden noises. He loves car rides, is able to get in and out of the car on his own, and enjoys looking out the window or resting during trips. Training and Habits Bruce is crate-trained and remains calm in a kennel. He primarily relieves himself outdoors and may mark in new environments, which can be managed with training. He does not exhibit separation anxiety and rarely barks. When it comes to food, he does not guard his meals from people but may growl softly if another dog approaches while he is eating. He is not overly possessive, but he can sometimes hold onto objects in his mouth and may need continued "leave it" training. Ideal Home Bruce would do well in a home that can provide him with regular outdoor exercise and a cool, comfortable environment. He enjoys human companionship and would benefit from a family that appreciates his affectionate nature. He could live with other dogs if introductions are managed carefully. Special Notes Bruce is an affectionate, social dog who loves attention and companionship. He is well-adjusted to various environments and is confident on walks and car rides. While he does not show aggression, he may need continued training in resource guarding and leash manners. ##2304847##

Story
Bunny / Spayed Female / Northern Mix Breed / 90lbs / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Bunny is an absolutely amazing girl who came to us all the way from Attawapiskat after a rough start—she was forced to leave after being attacked by a group of dogs. But despite her past, Bunny is nothing but love and warmth! This St. Bernard-Malamute mix is a gentle giant, a loyal companion, and an expert foot warmer on chilly winter days. She loves nothing more than curling up by your feet, bringing comfort and companionship wherever you go. Bunny adores the great outdoors and will happily frolic in the snow for hours, embracing every winter adventure with enthusiasm. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, playing respectfully and making fast friends, and has shown zero interest in bothering our cats—what a well-mannered lady! But what truly makes Bunny special is her deep love for her people. She thrives on companionship and can be a little anxious when left alone, but we’re working on building her confidence. She walks proudly on a leash, knows basic commands, and will melt your heart by rolling over for belly rubs at every opportunity. With her calm nature, beautiful fluffy coat, and the most heartwarming smile, Bunny is ready to find a forever home where she can share all the love she has to give. Could she be your perfect match? Bunny has been spayed and microchipped. She is up to date on her vaccinations. Bunny is being fostered in Burlington. Apply to adopt! https://forms.gle/16NeyupjUZxyV2vH7

Story
Meet Lainey, a 12-week-old Akita puppy who is equal parts adorable and warrior. This little fluffball has been through a lot in her short life - she was rushed to emergency care when part of her intestine slipped inside another. During the surgery, the vets had to remove a small section, but this brave girl has bounced back to being the playful pup she was meant to be! Lainey is your typical puppy - playful, curious, and full of love. She adores her toys, naps and snuggling with her favourite humans. But like all young pups, she’s still learning the ropes, so she’ll thrive with a routine, positive reinforcement and plenty of encouragement as she masters basic training, house manners, and gains confidence. Now let’s talk about Akitas – because while Lainey is undeniably adorable, Akitas are not your average beginner dog. They are incredibly loyal, intelligent, and affectionate with their families – they’re also strong-willed, independent, and naturally reserved with strangers. This means Lainey needs an experienced owner with strong leadership skills who can provide consistent training, proper socialization and set clear boundaries to help her grow into her full potential as an adult dog. Lainey is looking for a home that understands and appreciates the Akita spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, beautiful puppy, and you can provide a loving home with patience, structure, and commitment – this could be the perfect match.
