Story
MEET FINNY! Finny is a free spirited and independent Alaskan Malamute with a heart full of energy and playfulness. This handsome guy absolutely loves to play and explore, and he’s always ready for a new adventure. Despite his enthusiasm for play, Finny is a mellow companion when it’s time to relax, happily curling up for a nap after an active session. He’s adapted quickly to home routines and is content with his own company, showing no signs of separation related problems – a wonderful trait for a Malamute!Finny responds best to positive interactions and play rather than treats. His independent spirit means he’s comfortable being left alone, making him an ideal fit for someone looking for a low-maintenance yet fun-loving companion. Finny is best suited to a home that can offer him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation but also appreciates his independent side.If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and laid-back buddy, Finny might be your perfect match. Finny is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team. For more information on Finny or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
Meet Atenea!   Atenea (pronounced “Athena”) is a 40-pound Malamute mix with a heart as big as her beautiful name. This sweet girl has overcome a difficult past but is now ready to embrace a bright future with her forever family.   Atenea was found in Mexico, tied up in terrible conditions alongside her son, who has since been adopted. Despite everything she’s endured, Atenea’s gentle and loving spirit shines through. She’s great with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a family. (Her compatibility with cats is still unknown.)   Before Atenea could start her new chapter, she bravely underwent heartworm treatment, and now she’s officially cleared and ready to go! This affectionate and resilient pup is ready to bring her warmth and sweetness to a home that will give her the love she truly deserves.   Interested in adopting Atenea? Apply today to meet her! is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you).
