Story
Hello! My name is Sitka! I am a senior boy looking for my forever home. I would do best in a calm and quiet home with no children or other animals. I'm a little stressed being at the shelter and working through some issues guarding my food (from humans). However the amazing volunteers still take me out for daily walks and I really enjoy that! If you are ready for a best friend, please come see me at the NOAH Center. The NOAH Center31300 Brandstrom Rd., Stanwood, WA 98292Phone:360.629.7055Email: adopt@thenoahcenter.orgwww.thenoahcenter.orgM-F, 11-6 and Sat-Sun, 11-5To learn more about adopting a pet from The NOAH Center, please visit us at www.thenoahcenter.org/dogs

Story
Octavia is a typical husky that does not like to be contained. She is known to be an escape artist from fenced yards, either going over or under. She enjoys kids and other animals. She does however, resource guard, so small children are not a good idea. She is the dominants dog, so pairing with a male would be best. We would not recommend pairing with a female. She would benefit from extensive obedience training. She barrier guards, so please try to not judge her by the initial reaction. She is a super friendly dog toward people. If you are into huskies, this girl could be for you.

Story
This big guy loves tug-o-war and chasing plastic bottles. He needs a lot of training. He is a happy counter surfer. He is not a good match for small animals, including cats or small dogs. He enjoys gardening and chewing on items that you may not want him to. He needs a high fence that will deter his adventurous streak. All said, he is a good boy that needs a chance.
