Introducing Fiery: A Spirited, Loyal Companion Ready for His Second ChanceMeet Fiery, a striking two-year-old male Husky mix with a bold personality and an adventurous heart. True to his name, Fiery brings intensity, energy, and spirit to everything he does. He thrives on movement, challenge, and connection with those he trusts. With the right adopter—someone patient, experienced, and willing to invest in his journey—Fiery has the potential to become an incredibly rewarding companion.Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast seeking a walking or hiking partner or someone who appreciates the satisfaction of working with a dog who needs a little extra support, Fiery might just be the dog who changes your life.Training & Behavior Needs:Fiery is a smart, alert dog who’s eager to explore the world but still learning how to navigate it calmly. He’s made progress in our care and is looking for a home that will help him continue to grow.Leash Training:Fiery tends to pull at first due to excitement, but settles into his walk after a few minutes. With structure and consistency, his leash manners will continue to improve.Barrier Aggression:Fiery has displayed some barrier aggression, a behavior where a dog becomes reactive when confined behind a physical barrier—like a kennel gate or fence. This can look like barking, growling, or lunging, but often stems from frustration or overstimulation, not true aggression. Once outside of those confined spaces, and given a calm introduction, Fiery shows a much softer side. It`s important his future family understands how to manage and work through these moments with patience and understanding.Dog Interactions:Fiery has not shown positive interest in other dogs during his time with us, so he is best suited as the only dog in the home. That said, we’re open to a meet and greet with an experienced, knowledgeable adopter pending an approved application—especially someone familiar with managing dog-dog dynamics. No Kids, No Cats:Due to his bite history and high arousal tendencies, Fiery cannot go to a home with children or cats. He requires an adult-only household with a calm, consistent routine and clear structure. Why Fiery?Because sometimes, the best relationships take a little work—and Fiery is worth it.Once you earn his trust, you’ll see a sweet, affectionate, and goofy side of him emerge. He bonds deeply with those he knows and thr
