YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, I’m Shellie!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m sure happy to be here and thankful for a second chance at living a great life!  I’m ready to find my new family and have some fun as well as show them what a great companion I’ll be. I was adopted for a few days, but it wasn’t a good fit as I did not like the cat and I need to work on my food and toy possessiveness which I’m doing now with my trainer.  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and did not like the females, but did well with the males, so if you have a male dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I met a cat in a temporary home, and we learned that I should not live with cats due to my strong prey drive. (No cats were harmed in this discovery.) / There was an 11-year-old in my foster home, and I did great with them (they knew not to take things away from me), but more mature kids - aged 15+ that will follow the rules that work for me would be best, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My former foster described me as a loving friend who gave lots of kisses and was also a bit ‘mouthy’ like a puppy! I was delightful for the Mostly Mutts photographer as I showed how much I enjoyed cuddling and being in a lap. A very sweet and lovable friend, I’m looking forward to showering my family with love! I am a bit possessive of my food, toys and anything in my mouth and there was 1 bite related to this, so I’ve been working on it with my trainer, who has implemented controlled locations for my meals, as well as accompanying commands – so please just ask about this. My trainer also taught me the command ‘drop it’ to trade my toys and bones for a high value treat.  / Energy level: 6-8, so I’ll want to be active with my new family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so, I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. My trainer is working with me on my possessive behaviors as there was 1 bite related to this.  I’ve since learned to trade a toy for a treat and my trainer would be happy to talk to and work with you on this.  Mostly Mutts recommends a trainer to continue my training after adoption. / I am described as pretty relaxed in my crate and I did well in my two temp. homes, too. / I did really well with my potty manners in my foster home with no accidents as well as two temp. homes I was in for a few days.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love going for walks, playing with toys, chasing tennis balls, cuddling and being in laps as well as getting my head and ears scratched and my tummy rubbed.  I also like pawing at my people’s feet lol. / I can be a little shy when first meeting new people, so I do best when given time to approach at my own pace — if rushed, I may choose to run and hide.  See personality/skills section of my profile and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love that will follow the rules that have been established to help me be successful! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 16, 2026, 8:43 am

SWEET, FUN & ADORABLE:  Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 15 lbs. Hi there, I’m Darwin!  I’m a darling fellow who somehow found myself at animal control, and I’m so grateful to be in the Mostly Mutts family now.  I got to spend a couple of days in a temporary foster home and now I’m back at the shelter having fun with the volunteers while I wait to find my new family.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like them, so I’ll want to be your only dog. / Cats unknown. / I think kids 15+ years old would be best for me.  I was nippy with the 9-year-old in my temp. foster home related to food/treats, so if you have kids 15+, let’s meet (the MM trainers will be happy to help you with this).    • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet, curious, handsome boy who’s as lovable as they come! I’m friendly, playful, fun, and active, with a little vocal flair when I’m playing.  I was great for my photoshoot and showed just how charming I am, and during my bath, I was calm, gentle, and stood quietly in the tub, even sighing in deep satisfaction during the rub, scrub, and rinse.  I’m a fluffy, delightful boy that you will love. / Energy level: 5-7, a little higher in the temp. foster home I visited.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘place’ and ‘shake’ commands and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well at the shelter with my crate manners and did well in my temp. foster home, too. / My potty manners have been good at the shelter with very few accidents and was good in the temp. foster home too.  I do however mark things, but I have just been neutered, so with time and training, this should improve. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love being petted, playing, and spending time with the nice volunteers.  In my temp. foster home, I did some “happy growling” when playing with all the fun toys.  I also enjoy a little outside time with the volunteers in the play yard.  I’m sure once I’m settled into my new home, we’ll discover even more things we’ll enjoy together! / Other than dogs, and children around food or treats, I haven’t shown any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again – but not in the talking-back kind of way.  Like all dogs that are a little bit older, I'm on a good over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin that I should stay on. I’m a sweet and fun-loving little dog looking for a wonderful family that will cherish me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 16, 2026, 8:43 am

LOVING & FRIENDLY:  Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 22 lbs. Hello – I’m Thaddeus!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I am so happy to be soaking up all the love from the volunteers.  Now I'm ready to find a wonderful home of my own with a family to love and be loved by!  Perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn’t quite ready to play, I also didn’t show any aggression, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, happy, and very sweet pup with lots of love to give. The volunteers say I’m a sweet and wonderful dog, and a very loving one, too.  For the Mostly Mutts photographer, I was described as an all-happy fluff pup - and that fits me perfectly!  Speaking of fluff – I am the kind of dog that will need regular brushing to keep my fur looking good. / Energy level:  4-6.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / The crate is not my favorite place as I’d rather be out spending time with people. / I’ve only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule.     • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love sitting in laps, playing with toys, and soaking up all the pets and affection you want to give.  Being loved is one of my favorite things! / Other than the crate not being my favorite thing, like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 16, 2026, 8:43 am
