Story
Jason Momoa is a looker, just like his name sake- and thankfully, he's just a great a dog as he is good looking! He is slightly smaller than your typical American Akita but he's got that Akita mindset. This means he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but as he's young and smart, he's learned quickly that people bring the fun (and food)- so he makes friends quickly now. He also loves to play and along with training, these are the keys to his heart! He already knows quite a few commands and walks well on a leash- but also loves to run and play in the yard. He plays his own version of fetch which mostly involves running around with the ball- not so much bringing it back- but he loves this game! Typical for his breed, he can be slightly protective and this is why we require someone with previous "power breed" or Akita experience. Akitas are typically not first time dogs and they need boundaries and structure that most first time owners do not understand (which is exactly why he is with us). Jason is crate trained and housebroken. He would do best in a home with no children. Home cannot have other male dogs, and/or smaller breeds. Jason is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Dooly🦕 (It's famous Korean dinosaur character name) * With People: Dooly is curious about people but shy and hesitant to approach. He gets scared by sudden movements, so patience and slow, gentle interactions are essential to building trust. * With Dogs: He coexists well with other dogs at the shelter, though he prefers to relax rather than actively play. * With Cats: Dooly has not yet been exposed to cats, so his behavior around them is unknown. * Separation Anxiety: It’s currently unclear if Dooly experiences separation anxiety as he resides in the shelter. Initial training may be needed if he transitions to a home environment. * Potty Training: Dooly is accustomed to outdoor pottying only. * Walking: He has had some leash training during his time at a dog school but will need a trusted handler and double leashing for gradual and safe walks. 💌Special Notes💌 * Dooly takes time to get comfortable with people and requires a patient, understanding environment to help him adapt.

Story
birthday 10/19/2022 Benson is a really good boy. He has territorial aggression and would need to be in a home with no kids and a large yard. He is a very good listener, loves to play catch, loves the water but hasn’t fully swam yet but he figures it out. He could use some leash training during walking as he’s normally off leash at the park.

Swan is almost 3 months old and is a sassy ball of energy. Shes fluffy, and the cutest, Akita,Husky, Cattle Dog mix. It’s getting harder and harder to get pictures of her as she loves to wiggle around! New tricks this week….she’s mastered the doggie door, can scarf down her food under 2 minutes, and is becoming quite the climber. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and learning to potty outside. She loves kids and can match their energy. Shes eager to please! She’s going to be a big dog and has huge puppy paws. Let’s help her find a home and a family to grow with!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Quick Facts  Name: Chance Age: 4 years Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: White Swiss Shepherd Dog Colour: Ivory (a mix of white and light brown) Weight: 23 kg   All About MeHello there! I’m Chance, and I can’t wait to tell you a little about myself. My journey began back in 2021 when I was rescued from a shelter in Gwangju. I was found in quite a tough situation, but now I’m ready for a fresh start with a loving family!   My PersonalityI’m a gentle soul with a curious heart. At first, I might take my time warming up to new people, but if you offer me a tasty treat, I promise to come around quickly! I love food, especially a variety of snacks, though I prefer to take my time enjoying them rather than gobbling everything at once. Once I feel comfortable, I love to be petted and might even show you my belly as a sign of trust. I enjoy being around kids, especially those under 13; they always bring a smile to my face! I also have a friendly nature when it comes to other dogs. I like to say hello and, once I’m comfortable, I’m happy to play! I’m still getting used to cats; I tend to get a bit excited when I see them, but I’m learning to stay calm.   Energy and ActivitiesMy energy level is just right. I enjoy my outdoor adventures and walks, but after a fun day, you can find me happily resting at home. I’m pretty good on a leash, although I sometimes get excited and might pull a little—just a pup being playful! Occasionally, my excitement gets the best of me, and I might bounce around happily, but I always make sure to wait for my walking buddies if they fall behind.   Training and HabitsI may not bark much, but when I do, it’s usually to let you know if something interesting is happening around us. I’ve learned how to hop into the car by myself, though I prefer to be guided to the right spot first. One of my favorite things is toys—especially squeaky ones! I love to play and engage, and I know how to sit for a treat. It takes me a little time to show my playful side, but once we bond, you’ll see my fun-loving spirit shine through! Even though I’m four years old, I still have a cute, puppy-like charm with my soft, droopy eyes. When it’s mealtime for the humans, I like to sidle up and rest my face against their chair, patiently waiting for a little something to fall my way.   Special NotesOverall, I’m a sweet and adaptable pup, looking for a forever home where I can share my love and companionship. Are you ready to be my new friend? I promise to fill your life with joy and warmth! ##2260907##

Story
Meet Eva Greene! Eva is a stunning and gentle husky mix with a heart full of sweetness. Shes an adult dog who thrives in a calm, quiet environment with another friendly dog to guide her. Eva connects deeply with other dogsthey help her feel secure and give her the confidence to grow and trust the humans in her life. Since her arrival, Eva has made incredible progress. Shes learned how cozy and comforting a home can be and now much prefers being indoors with her people over braving bad weather or being left alone. That said, Eva absolutely loves spending time in the yard. A securely fenced yard where she can relax and take in the scenery is a must for her happiness. Eva is playful and enjoys the company of calm, friendly dogs and people. A high-energy, bustling household isnt her style, but a home where she can enjoy peaceful Netflix marathons, leisurely walks, or scenic hikes would be perfect. True to her husky heritage, Eva is a gorgeous fluffball who shedsa lot! Regular brushing will help keep her coat looking its best and reduce the fur tumbleweeds. Eva is a true gem, and were so excited for her to find a loving home that sees her unique beauty and charm. Could that be with you? Eva is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed.
