Hi, my name is Rocski and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Apr 13, 2025. Learning new tricks and exercising my brain are my absolute favorite things to do! The only way it could be any better would be if I could learn things with you. We could show off new, fun tricks together and be the coolest pair ever!

Story
We got Juice as a puppy in 2018 from a breeder near Toronto, Ontario. He has always been a sweet, energetic, and playful dog. He loves his family and is great with children who are respectful and gentle with him. He is sometimes wary of men, and can take a while to warm up with a thoughtful introduction. He has lived with an adult female Akita and MIGHT be able to live with another large female dog. He is not safe around small animals as he has a high prey drive. We are being forced to leave the country unexpectedly and can not take him with us. We will work hard to find the right fit for him!

Story
I adopted Luna at 2 months and she has turned into the sweetest mild tempered dog. She is now about 2.5 years old and she is great with kids and other animals. From a very young age she has been accustomed to being around kids and other animals. She has never been aggressive or in need to major training. She would be a wonderful addition to your family and I honestly would not rehome her if I had a choice.

Story
Jason Momoa is a looker, just like his name sake- and thankfully, he's just a great a dog as he is good looking! He is slightly smaller than your typical American Akita but he's got that Akita mindset. This means he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but as he's young and smart, he's learned quickly that people bring the fun (and food)- so he makes friends quickly now. He also loves to play and along with training, these are the keys to his heart! He already knows quite a few commands and walks well on a leash- but also loves to run and play in the yard. He plays his own version of fetch which mostly involves running around with the ball- not so much bringing it back- but he loves this game! Typical for his breed, he can be slightly protective and this is why we require someone with previous "power breed" or Akita experience. Akitas are typically not first time dogs and they need boundaries and structure that most first time owners do not understand (which is exactly why he is with us). Jason is crate trained and housebroken. He would do best in a home with no children. Home cannot have other male dogs, and/or smaller breeds. Jason is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!
