Story
Rocki is going to need a job. He is super high energy and casual walks will not be enough for this crazy guy. He wants to please and once he knows what you want from him he is a superstar. He does know `leave it` and `this way` but he needs a lot of positive training in order to harness his energy a bit. This dog could use a big fenced yard, cows to herd and a soft place to land when the work day is done. Cats may not be the best companion for this guy.

Story
Simba has spent too long waiting for his forever family. 💔 This strong and spirited Akita-Husky mix is full of energy, loves his toys, and is happiest on long walks or playing with his human. He’s sweet, loyal, and ready for the right home. If you’re looking for a dog with personality and heart, Simba is waiting to meet you! 🐕 Adopt Simba: https://form.jotform.com/221926016430144 Full profile: Simba is a 6-8-year-old Akita-Husky mix with the personality of an Akita and the heart of a lion. He’s playful, sweet, and full of energy but needs a confident and strong adopter who understands his needs. 💪 Strength & Training: Simba is powerful and can pull when excited, so he needs someone physically capable of managing his strength. He’s learning commands like sit, down, paw, and “potty” and thrives with structure. A harness might help with his pulling. 🐾 Energy & Personality: Simba is not always a couch potato! He loves long walks (2+ miles is no problem), playing with his toys, and getting plenty of attention. He’s affectionate and cuddly but always ready for adventure. 🏡 Home Needs: Simba would do best in a home without small children due to his strength and energy. He’s good with other dogs, especially more timid ones, but does best with boundaries around toys and space. He’s also quite the counter-surfer, so keeping things out of reach is key! 🐕 Health: Simba has a thyroid condition that is managed with treatment, giving him renewed energy and playfulness. Simba has had a lot of love and care from his foster, but he’s ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a strong, loyal, and playful companion, Simba could be your perfect match. 💙 Ready to meet Simba? Apply to adopt him and give this big-hearted boy the home he deserves. 📌 Share to help Simba find his forever home Currently being cared in Southern California, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and anywhere within the US continental, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him.

Story
Rrrrruffff! I'm Kya! I'm a happy and smiley girl! I love people and I'm a very sweet girl. I can be a tiny bit anxious but with time I come out of my shell pretty easily! I'm a cattle dog mix, and I have some white, brown and black in my coat! I'm quite beautiful, and I smile often! I'm dog friendly, I currently go out with two other large female foster sisters and a foster brother! At first, I try to work and will to herd everyone. That's my job, so that's what I do! But,, I play and jump around once I know my duties have been completed! I'm potty and crate trained! My foster Mom lets me out in the yard (fenced in), and I get to play with others and do my business. When I'm all done, I go straight to my crate, where I'm fed and given water! I do like to play in the water too, sometimes I just stand in it. I'm a great adventure partner too, I love adventures! The only adventures I go on right now are to Home Depot, Marshall's, and my favorite...the drive thru at Starbucks! I get to get a pup cup every time! Watch how good I was at my last trip to Marshall's with my Foster Mom here: https://youtu.be/CJkoorJ859w?feature=shared I'm so happy that I'll be able to find my forever home soon. I would love to provide all the love and affection to someone or a whole family! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Nikko! He is an awesome 2-year-old, 75lb Akita/Golden Retriever mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is an amazing dog that is going to make a great adventure companion and addition to any lucky household that adopts him. Nikko gets along well with others, has done great with other dogs in our care, and is always in a great mood. He walks very well on a leash and does not pull much. He is a very well-balanced dog of being calm yet also able to be active when you need him to be. He is mellow for the most part, except when he sees grass in which he loves to go crazy and roll around in it! He is very sweet, loving, and will make a loyal companion. Nikko would make a great additional dog in a home, or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. He also does great getting groomed and his nails trimmed, as he is a very patient and trusting dog with his handler. And who couldn’t love that big fluffy bear head and those adorable ears?! Nikko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Xavier from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 5 month old  male Akita - Jindo mix.  I weigh approximately 14 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
