Story
Hi! I'm Shino! Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend-and, hey, so am I! I'm a 6 yr old Akita. Neutered and up to date on all that wellness stuff. I was adopted by a family 4 years ago, but they had to give me up when they couldn't care for me any longer. Loosing my home has been rough, so I'm looking for a new one! How about yours? You probably want to know more about me. Hmmm...I am a big cuddly guy with a big heart. I am a pretty typical akita: loyal, loving, and playful with my family but aloof with strangers. I missed out on some vital socializing with my last family, so I prefer to be the only kid in the house (both human and dog). My last human was female, so I am partial to them. But I will warm up to men with a little patience. A home that speaks Akita is preferred (aka akita breed experience). If you want to meet up act fast! My fabulous cuddle skills won't stick around long. Adoption fee will be waived for enrollment in obedience training. Adoption process requires: completed application, meet ups to ensure compatibility, and a home visit. Please contact Denise Whitmore to schedule a meet-up or for more information. DWhitmore@gmail.com

Story
Valerian is an adult (born approx 4.1.17) neutered male Akita. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea/heartworm prevention, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Valerian was surrenderd to the shelter in Chesapeake, VA when the owner could no longer care for him. He had previously lived outside in a pen and was uncertain and stand off-ish when he first came to us, but he warmed up to a goofy, woo-ing, wiggle butt boy. He is just so sweet! Valerian would be fine in a home with children 12+ due to his high energy level and as an only pet.

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission.
