Story
Hazel and Bear are young siblings (born 8.28.23). They are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on flea and heartworm prevention, heartworm negative, house trained, crate trained, and sort of leash trained. Hazel is a standard coated female, and bear is a lomg coated male. These cuties came to us from an owner who could no longer care for them. They were predominantly outdoor dogs, so they will need some training to learn to be polite indoor company. They are both incredibly sweet, but they do like to jump up on people, which may be too much or harmful for small children. They are a bonded pair that will need to be adopted together, and will need to be the only pets in the house.

Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
https://foha.org/pet/kai2024/ Hi, I'm Kai, a one-year-old Shepherd mix with a gentle and loving personality.I may be a bit slow to warm up to people but once I do, I greatly enjoy attention, affection and treats. When we meet, please let me come to you and after a few careful sniffs, I will nuzzle your hand indicating that it's ok to start petting me. Once trust has been established I will happily soak up all of the affection you wish to give me.I have met, and enjoyed playing with, a variety of dogs. A slow and respectful introduction is usually all I need in order to become familiar with another dog. Many times I want to play, but sometimes I just want to walk along with my canine friend and their people. Small animals and birds definitely catch my attention and I feel they are fun to chase. A 5 ft or higher fence would be ideal for me as I am quite athletic and have impressive leaping abilities. Cats are an unknown factor, but given how much other small animals stimulate me, I may be best living without them or at the very least needing a very slow and very careful introduction. I'm ready to find my family! Please come meet me!

Story
Cato is a young (born 12.31.22) neutered male Akita. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm negative, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Cato came to us from a family who could no longer care for him. He's a sweet loveable goof who would do well as an only dog, or *maybe* with the right, mellow female.
