Story
Meet Rocky.. a beautiful big teddy bear!! Rocky was given to us as a puppy and he's such a great pet!! As a puppy he was allowed to be loose on the property and he right away attached his loyalty to one person..me!! When I was outside he was right there with me!! If someone came to our house he stood in front of me watching that person until they left! He has that nature to be very loyal and protective to one person!! Since then I've been busy with a growing family and he got into roaming so he needs to be tied!! We can't afford to get him fixed which is what he needs to keep him from roaming so we are hoping to find someone who is willing to do that!! He has never bitten anyone or intentionally hurt anyone but he is big and full of energy due to being tied so he's already accidentally knocked over my 3 year old!! He loves walks but due to his size and energy levels I've trained him to pull me on an amish scooter!! I'm sure a bike would work too... he's a very interesting dog for sure!

Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Introducing ‘Ghost’ a 3 year old American Akita. Ghost is a super sweet fellow and needs a calm, confident and active owner who is attentive to his needs and instincts. His confidence, once shattered, is building back up with patient handling. He walks great on a leash and loves being close to you. He enjoys car rides, to go for a hike and enjoys walks where he can take in all the sights and smells along the way. Akitas don’t accept the settings of doggie daycares, canine play dates, or dog parks. Ghost fits most of the typical description of the Akita breed. He strongly prefers to be the only dog in the household, will chase small animals, and livestock; as he has protection tendencies over what he perceives to be his owners and property. Akitas are fast and inquisitive, and even with advanced training this is not a breed that can be off leash. Ghost is extremely affectionate and loyal and is seeking an owner to give all his loyalty and trust.  SafeHART) (jotform.com) Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please  email:    dianespets1486@gmail.com  or call 610-970-7500 APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG   SMALL ANIMALS   BIRD REPTILE   FERRET October 28, 2024, 2:33 am
