Story
I have had Nino since he was 8 weeks old. He is now six years old. I am unable to continue to care for him, I work a lot and have a long commute . Unfortunately I don’t have the time for him now. I want him to go to a good home, probably best with a family of 1-2 people .

Story
Gizmo is a BIG goofball of love! This boy will be 105 lbs when filled in. He is crate trained. Gizmo loves all people, running in the backyard and taking long walks! He’s independent hanging out on porch and plays with toys by himself. Also, at the same time he loves to be right next to you for pets and hugs! He is a big fan of playing with squeaky toys, footballs and flirt poles. Gizmo is working on house training. He is extremely smart and a quick learner knowing all his basic commands! Always smiling! Gizmo has had several positive meet & greets with other dogs, & enjoys walking with dogs! However, we are still working on decreasing some dog-reactivity specifically with large breed males. Females are unknown. Due to Gizmos energy when he plays, we are recommending an adult-only home-- his tail is large and always wagging and might accidentally knock into someone! He is sensitive to high energy environment needs and requires a 6ft fence. Large breed handler is a must.

Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
What to say about Dexter Limburger? He is a big ole goof ball weighing roughly 80lbs. He acts like an untrained pup (he clearly came to us mostly untrained). He pulls on leash like a double engine freight train! He was not fond of collar grabs. He had no manners and does jump up, all of which we have been working on. He can sometimes cop an attitude like a spoiled brat. He is mouthy in his play and may bark and rumble at you when you first meet him, just to see if he can push your buttons. He does not like to share his food and resource guards by making you feel like you best NOT touch his food. All part of his pushing your buttons. . He will whine if he feels he is not getting enough attention; if that doesn't work he will also bark. He has gotten more respectful in the time he has been here. Learning to walk better on leash and not be such a brat. He is really a love bug! Put must of that behavior down to the husky breed. He is a husky brat! In being worked with while he has been here he has come a long way. That all being said he also jumps up to give hugs and kisses. He can sometimes walk like a prince on leash. He loves to play, slop in his wading pool, take car rides. He sits when asked, sometimes. He likes some of the girls here and loves to rump and play with them. His lastest friends have been a litter of older coonhound pups. He is house trained and will hold it a good 10 hours or more. He would gladly be a big lap dog and likes belly rubs. What he needs and would greatly benefit from is someone who is a confident Alfa, familiar with the breeds, willing and able to give him the training he needs. You will end up with a very handsome, wonderful dog. BUT, you must be patient and give him the focused time and work! If he sounds like the dog for you please visit our website www.perrycountyanimalrescue.org and fill out and adoption application. Once processed we will be in touch for a meet and greet.
