Story
Shiloh is a 5 year old Akita that we have had since she was 6 months old. She is completely house broken, very friendly, listens well and has never shown any aggression towards a human. She is vaccinated and has a clean bill of health. She does good with most other dogs but I wouldn’t recommend a house with cats since she has not been around them. She’s a beautiful dog but unfortunately for personal reasons we just can’t keep her anymore so we would love to find a dog lover in the area that would love on her and welcome her into their home.

Meet Louie! Looking for the most amazing, handsome, all-around perfect boy? Louie is YOUR guy! Louie is a 1-year-old Akita mix weighing about 70 lbs… and let us tell you… what a charmer! He’s already stolen all of our hearts and we are completely in LOVE. This fun, silly, and goofy boy has the perfect amount of playful energy. Whether he’s showing off his zoomies or soaking up attention, Louie’s personality shines. He’s also incredibly smart. He already knows how to sit for treats and is very well-mannered... He just likes to give HUGS. Louie had a blast on his first hike with us through the woods and creek, and he can’t wait for many more adventures with his future family. Louie’s highlights:
 ~ Super smart & eager to please
 ~ Playful, sweet, and full of personality
 ~ Loves outdoor adventures & exploring 
 ~ Does well with other dogs
 ~ Would likely do best in a home without cats (cat testing available for serious adopters)

Story
This handsome guy is such a sweet boy outside of his kennel. He’s affectionate and calm and enjoys being pet. He enjoys his time out with the volunteers so much that he really does not like to go back to his kennel. Hector was introduced to several dogs at the kennel and he was such a good sport. He played with them and was gentle and respectful. He was very tolerant of the young pups who were jumping all over him and he enjoyed the calmer ones who just wanted calm play with him. He’s got this really laid back personality. He will just sit or lay next to you for hours getting pets and getting under coat brushed out. He’s really a super chill beautiful soul. He’s desperately hoping to find a way out of here soon! Hector was introduced to cats and was indifferent. We would need to officially test him with any dogs in the home and introduce him slowly to any cats in the house. We can’t say enough good things about Hector!
