Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

I am hearing that I am just the cutest fluffball that there is but I am an Akita and will not be the pup for every home. We are looking for families with breed experience or who have read about my breed and are sure they have the home for me. I am still living at my foster home so you must make an appointment to see me. Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $235.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Spike is a "manly" kind of name, right?? I am a guy, so I must be "strong like bull" :) Actually I am kind of a goofball. Smart and silly, playful and happy- just grateful to be alive!! I was saved from a high high kill shelter in W Texas and have been here getting my heartworms treated and having friends and an actual life... but now my goal is to have an actual FAMILY too!! I am good with other dogs, although I am a dominant boy, so I need either to be an only dog or to have a submissive friend to hang with. I am also a husky and all that goes along with that breed applies, I am active, I need a husky knowledgeable family cause we are escape artists and shed A LOT!! I would love to get out of HOT-TEXAS and AC is my friend but cooler weather would be AMAZING!! Adopt me soon, I am ready!!
