Apollo, a strikingly handsome Akita mix, came to us as a stray. He has been a little shy at the shelter, but give him some time and he`ll warm up. He participates in dog playgroups and is selective about his dog friends. Like all our adult dogs, he will need to meet any potential canine companions before going home.Apollo is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Juno came to us at 3 and was a wonderful addition to the family. Unfortunately with the uptick in my work schedule and my girlfriend having to take care of the baby, Juno was not able to get the stimulation he needed. He is a wonderful, loving dog who loves to run and play so a yard is a must. He loves to eat scraps but they made him fat so we took to giving him 2 bowls of kibble instead of letting him into the kitchen. He does amazing around children and cats but gets a little excited when seeing another dog.

Story
My daughter adopted Jewels from Ark Veterinary Clinic in Sterling, Kansas, where she was 2 years old at the time. Her birthdate is 12-1-2015. She will be 9 years old in December. She is a good dog with a lot of energy. She needs to be able to run and/or take walks regularly. She loves all the attention. She is grate trained. Jewels does not like other dogs or cats. Jewels would thrive best in a home with no small children and where she would be the only dog. Jewels has urinary incontinence and takes Proin Chews daily. She has a six month supply for her adopter. She eats Beneful twice a day and is up to date on all vaccinations including rabies, kennel cough and annual. She has also test negative for heart worm. There are allergies in the family that we have tried to contain with medicine and that is no longer an option. The child's allergies have become so bad we have no choice but to find someone who can give her a loving home.
