Story
Kilo is an amazing companion and it saddens our family so much to have to rehome her. We have a 8 month old son and Kilo has shown us very clear signs that she is uncomfortable living with young children. I would love to explain more about Kilo and the wonderful furry friend she is to anyone interested. :)

Meet Balto! Balto is fun loving 5 year old Husky/Aussie Mix?? who is looking for his forever home, he is laid back and shy until he gets to know you so he will need a person who can give him the time to warm up. Once he figures out you are there to love and take care of him you won't find a better buddy! He does well with other dogs but he does like to use his feet to "boop" them at times. We aren't sure how he would be around cats as we do not have a way to test him. He does well with kids as well! Balto came to us with a tennis ball sized benign tumor on his front foot that we had removed, he was also very much under weight and had some skin issues, he is healing well for all and now starting to look his best for his forever home!Balto is currently in the P4P (Puppies for Parole) Training Program where he will be for 8 weeks learning how to be a good boy! While there he will learn Kennel Training, Leash Walking, House Training and basic commands such as sit, shake, come, stay, down and more if he is willing to learn! If you would like to consider adopting Balto please complete our adoption application on our website at www.moberlyanimalshelter.bravesites.com Meet and Greets will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am & 3:00pm as they will take place at the Department of Corrections. No kids under the age of 18 are allowed on the grounds so if you have kids and they need to meet him as well other arrangements will need to be made in advance.
