Meet Zeke! He is a young male brown/white Akita around 8-12 months of age. He was removed from a situation where he did not receive much attention, so Zeke will require someone with experience with this breed to foster or adopt him. Zeke has been great with people and previously lived with a medium-sized poodle. He'd like to meet his potential canine siblings before heading home. He's a loving boy and wants to please. He needs an adult-only home with people who have the time and patience to teach him the world isn't so scary. If you would like to meet Zeke please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387. Keith is a 6-year old Akita with a stunning coat and Akita traits - loyal, independent, and courageous. He previously lived with kids and a cat and would love to meet the whole family - dogs too! He absolutely loves to be outside, and does not mind getting in the water. Keith likes playing with the fish his humans catch. Keith is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

Bentley is a very loving dog. I received her from a family friend about two years ago. At the time I received her I was doing very well had a home that I just recently lost due to me being layed off. I'm not in the position of being able to have a stable home for her now. I know she deserves everything plus more. I'm just unfortunately not in the position of being able to do that. Bentley is four years of age, loves going on walks, playing with children and laying or sitting next to you. She is house-trained and Kennell trained. She doesn't whine or act up if needed to be corralled. When she feels comfortable with you, you wil have a very protective dog who is attached at the hip. You will fall in love just as I and my two kids have . I just want for her to go to a loving home will people who care for her and truly love her. SHE IS ON A HEALTH PLAN THROUGH BANFIELD!.. she has been a single dog for the entirety of having her.

This sweetheart was rescued from a junkyard along with five of her siblings. She responds well to Nebula and Nebbi, and is housebroken. She absolutely loves other dogs and gets along fantastically with both young children and other animals, including cats and other smaller animals when introduced properly. She has a very friendly disposition and shows love indiscriminately to everyone she meets. She is highly intelligent and seems eager to learn more than I have had time to show her. She can sit and shake and listens wonderfully but has not ever received any one on one attention like she deserves due to the consistent issues in her placements of too many other animals and caregivers without the time.

Neutered Male Birthday 03/23/2019 Due to personal life changes, Dwight is no longer getting the attention he needs to thrive. He is good with cats, dogs, kids of all ages. He is very sweet and talkative. Never has accidents in the house. He does need to be fed separately if you have other dogs because like most huskies, he does protect his food. He loves having a den area and he will come with a 2x kennel. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to discuss. I know we can find him a lovely home that is perfect for him!
