Story
Meet Zeke! He is a young male brown/white Akita around 8-12 months of age. He was removed from a situation where he did not receive much attention, so Zeke will require someone with experience with this breed to foster or adopt him. Zeke has been great with people and previously lived with a medium-sized poodle. He'd like to meet his potential canine siblings before heading home. He's a loving boy and wants to please. He needs an adult-only home with people who have the time and patience to teach him the world isn't so scary. If you would like to meet Zeke please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387. Zeke is in the KC metro, but transport to the right home might be available.

Story
Keith is a 6-year old Akita with a stunning coat and Akita traits - loyal, independent, and courageous. He could potentially do well with a cat as he has previously lived with one, but would definitely need a slow introduction. Keith prefers to be the only male pup in the home and would need to meet any potential female pups before going home. Keith is a little nervous around kids and would need to meet the whole fam before coming home. He absolutely loves to be outside, and does not mind getting in the water. Keith likes playing with the fish his humans catch. Keith is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
