Story
Bought new as puppies from a breeder in PA. Born september 2018, they are from the same litter (sisters) and just turned 6. They play hard/rough with each other in a large fenced in yard. They have had Zero interaction socially with other dogs, or kids so it is unknown how they would react in those situations. They are used to free-roaming in the yard and do not go on walks, nor like leashes/harnesses at this time. My father passed, and I cannot look after the dogs on my own. They should have a new home, with fenced in yard, and someone who can interact / check on them, without being away for 10 hours + each day. Angel (black) will bark at any/all strangers, while Buffy (tan) will sit /lay down and wait to be petted.

Story
Koda is a fun loving Akita. He enjoys cuddles, treats, and running at the dog park. He is a big goofball ball. He knows some basic commands, is house-trained, kennel-trained, and is a quick learner, although he does get excited for his treats. He can be a talker. Lol He is a bit timid when meeting new people but warms up to you quickly. He hasn't been around a lot of other dogs. Sadly, I have to rehome him due to loss of income and moving out of state. He will come with a large wire crate, toys, leash/harness/collar, dog food, and bowls. Just want him to go to a good home that can give him love and attention and wants a good guard dog.

Story
Kojo is a big beautiful boy. He was very vocal in his kennel, asking for his turn for a walk. He pottied right away and several times outside. Mr. Kojo was more interested in smelling all the smells than treats or toys. He didn`t enjoy me removing his leash when he was trying to do a sniffari. Hurry up, lady! He enjoyed treats and took them gently. Kojo allowed me to pet him but he wasn`t too interested in affection at that time. He is a smart boy who knows `sit` and would love to learn more. I didn`t get to spend too much time with Kojo, so I`m looking forward to seeing more of his personality shine!

Story
Skipjack is a delightful and stunning 2-year-old Akita mix currently in a foster home. Skipjack loves adventure and he would thrive with an active person or family. In his home there aren't children, but they do visit! He does well with an 8 and 13 year old but may be a little too bouncy for small children. Initially shy, Skipjack reveals his goofy and affectionate nature once he warms up. He loves belly rubs and can’t get enough of the water, often splashing around in the dog pool. He does have a bit of a prey drive and might get distracted by rabbits or squirrels on walks, but he generally walks well on a leash. He would also prefer a home without cats. Skipjack is a sweetheart, responding well to direction and training, but he will need a committed owner to continue his training. He hasn’t had any accidents in his designated space and he is crate trained. He is generally well behaved, he is working on his excitement when meeting new people! Skipjack is a lovable, high-energy dog who would be a great companion for an active individual or family willing to continue his training and provide him with the attention he needs. You must be over 21 and a home owner to adopt me. Please visit www.pittiesandpurrs.org to fill out an application. For further information contact adoptpitties@gmail.com
