Lani is a 30-pound husky mix who has come a long way from her rough beginnings as a junkyard dog. Rescued with her sister, she’s now learning basic commands and showing just how smart and eager to please she really is. Playful, intelligent, and full of potential, Lani is ready to leave her past behind and step into a brighter future. What she wants most is her very own forever family—a home where she can be loved, cherished, and given the chance to thrive. Lani has proven her resilience, and now she’s ready to prove what an amazing companion she can be. She would love long walks and running with her people. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for? Lani is located in our shelter in Hondo, Texas. Lani is also available for transport to St. Petersburg, FL on February 21, 2026. Adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport fee.
