Story
Full blooded Akita with papers and AKC bloodline papers. Bought from a breeder in Virginia. He is a good dog with my family,but our home is getting smaller with daughter being born. Active duty and deploy soon. Once he gets to know you he will protect you with his life. He's currently 2years old. He loves dry beef or salmon food ,the good kind ,and loves to go on walks. May pull a bit,but he calms down after a block or 2. Has been an inside dog his whole life. Will need heart worm pills & last rabies shot if can't get to vet before I leave. One of the best dogs I've ever had. Sad to let him go,but he needs someone who can give him the love and time he deserves. Has nice silver coat with the trim he gets at Puppy Love/Jacksonville. Is good with OUR children, & 'OK' with other dogs. Just the male territorial thing. Just needs broken in and watched until used to environment and his new people.

My name is Miso. I just turned 2 years old. I am a spayed female 100% Siberian Husky. My DNA test showed I have no problem genetic markers. I just turned two years old. I am fully vaccinated. I am intelligent, energetic and playful. I know lots of commands that I listen to when I want. I can Sit, Lay, Give Paw, Wait, Stay, and Come... I would like a home where I can stay inside and that has a fenced yard so I also can enjoy the fresh air. I can get along with other dogs, especially other Huskies, but please no cats.

I was hand selected for K9s For Warriors service dog program from San Antonio, Texas and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9s in January of this year, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living, due being too excitable and not always wanting to share my favorite things. I’m a sassy girl that is easily considered the life of the party with my spirited personality and I like to believe I’m an actual princess! I thrive when playtime comes, especially when it comes to fetch, where I can showcase all of my enthusiasm and speed I have to offer. After a fun day of play, I am eager to settle in for cuddles and get all the attention! I am crate trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for my forever home. Sweet, curious, and energetic 1-year old Smokey is in need of a forever or foster home! Smokey is a Husky mix. He's friendly, very intelligent, playful, affectionate, (he adores belly rubs!) enjoys long walks and is great with both dogs and people. Smokey enjoys car rides with the windows down so he can enjoy the scenery. I just know he will bring endless joy and love to some lucky family. Smokey's attends the veterinarian and groomer regularly as needed.
