Story
Hello! My name is Oso, which means “bear” in Spanish—but don’t let the name fool you! I’m a gentle giant with a heart full of love. I was saved just three hours before my time was up at the county shelter, and even though I’m a senior, I have so much life and love left to give! I’m all about people—I love them, like really, really love them. After spending my whole life outdoors, I’m absolutely thrilled by the comfort of indoor air conditioning and a doggy door that lets me wander into the yard whenever I want. Life is good! One of my favorite things is carrying around my stuffed toys, especially the small ones—they make me so happy! I also love chasing a ball and am the best boy when it’s time for a bath. Treats are my weakness, especially chicken tacos (yum!). I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I just want to soak up all the love for myself. I’m easygoing, never bark, and my tail wiggles with joy when I meet new friends. I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can give lots of kisses, enjoy scratchies, and just be your loyal companion for the rest of my days. If you can offer me a place to call home, please reach out to my foster mom, Jenn, at 602-710-4143. I can’t wait to meet you! ❤️ I’m a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue.

Story
I first met Roku in Dallas, Texas. He is a pure breed of Japanese Akita Inu. He was only three-month-old and just a little tiny pup. His birthday is Aug. 22, 2022. He is shy and sensitive but always super sweet and kind to me. Now he is about nine months old, and he never barked at me even once, never ran away once when I recall him. But when he is with me, when he's growing up now, I finally realize that maybe i am not the best owner for him, he deserves a better home and a happy doggy life with someone who can really spend a lot of time with him. There are some changes happening in my life and I will travel more frequently in the near future. It's really hard to make the decision but I hope the best for him and that he can be truly happy. The adoption fee there is setting a bar for selecting people who is financially stable and is serious about giving him a new home. But it's always negotiable, just reach out to me if you are an experienced dog owner. Thanks.

Story
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Lil Hello, I'm Lil, a sweet pup with a tale of resilience and hope. Not long ago, I was wandering the vast desert with my siblings, unsure of what tomorrow might bring. But then, a kind-hearted team from Central Arizona Animal Rescue gave me a chance at a new life. I'm a young girl, just a little over a year old, and life's been quite the adventure so far. I've never really known the warmth of a home or the joy of a leisurely walk on a leash, but I'm eager to learn! With some yummy treats and your gentle encouragement, I'm sure to pick up all the house manners quickly. My brother Phil is my rock; where he leads, I follow. He's taught me it's okay to play and explore this big, exciting world. I've been spayed, vaccinated, and even microchipped, so I'm all set for our journey together. I might be a bit shy at first, especially around new furry friends, and while I haven't met any cats or small children yet, I promise to be gentle with older kids who understand that I need a little time to come out of my shell. Are you the patient, loving family I've been dreaming of? Let's find out together! E-mail mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment to meet me. Come visit me and let's start our forever friendship.   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Story
Mickie is an 8-year-old, 60 lb Husky/Chow mix with a soft coat and a spunky personality. She’s vocal, sweet, and always ready for an adventure. She’s healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and loves to play, go for walks, and explore new places. The best part: She comes with a sidekick, her BFF MILLIE! Mickie and Millie are a dynamic duo who have been through a lot together, and we are committed to keeping them together. These sweet girls lost their dad and found themselves without a home, but we are hopeful we can find the perfect family willing to open their hearts to both of them. Adopting two dogs might sound like a challenge, but it’s actually twice the love and half the trouble! They keep each other company, ease the transition into a new home, and bring double the joy every day.  These two are best friends who love to wrestle and play like clockwork every day at 10:30 AM and 7:30 PM. They enjoy spending time in the yard, going for walks, and even traveling—RV trips and car rides are right up their alley! They know how to sit and shake, and while they’re friendly with other dogs, they like to take their time warming up. Mickie and Millie are looking for a loving, stable home where they can stay together forever. If you’re ready to welcome these two amazing girls into your life, apply today and experience the joy of a bonded pairAll Cooper’s Chance adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, de-wormed, micro chipped and housebroken. Dorthy is a sweet friendly husky mix we took in from Yuma a couple of weeks ago. We don't have any background information other then she was turned as a stray and nobody ever came to claim her. She has settled in and is doing awesome with her best buddy Timothy. She is ready for adoption, she is spayed, current on vaccinations and has been microchipped. She seems to do well with other dogs, but we don't know about cats or small children. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
