Story
Hello! My name is Oso, which means “bear” in Spanish—but don’t let the name fool you! I’m a gentle giant with a heart full of love. I was saved just three hours before my time was up at the county shelter, and even though I’m a senior, I have so much life and love left to give! I’m all about people—I love them, like really, really love them. After spending my whole life outdoors, I’m absolutely thrilled by the comfort of indoor air conditioning and a doggy door that lets me wander into the yard whenever I want. Life is good! One of my favorite things is carrying around my stuffed toys, especially the small ones—they make me so happy! I also love chasing a ball and am the best boy when it’s time for a bath. Treats are my weakness, especially chicken tacos (yum!). I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I just want to soak up all the love for myself. I’m easygoing, never bark, and my tail wiggles with joy when I meet new friends. I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can give lots of kisses, enjoy scratchies, and just be your loyal companion for the rest of my days. If you can offer me a place to call home, please reach out to my foster mom, Jenn, at 602-710-4143. I can’t wait to meet you! ❤️ I’m a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue.

Story
I first met Roku in Dallas, Texas. He is a pure breed of Japanese Akita Inu. He was only three-month-old and just a little tiny pup. His birthday is Aug. 22, 2022. He is shy and sensitive but always super sweet and kind to me. Now he is about nine months old, and he never barked at me even once, never ran away once when I recall him. But when he is with me, when he's growing up now, I finally realize that maybe i am not the best owner for him, he deserves a better home and a happy doggy life with someone who can really spend a lot of time with him. There are some changes happening in my life and I will travel more frequently in the near future. It's really hard to make the decision but I hope the best for him and that he can be truly happy. The adoption fee there is setting a bar for selecting people who is financially stable and is serious about giving him a new home. But it's always negotiable, just reach out to me if you are an experienced dog owner. Thanks.

These pups are in Cave Creek, Arizona too!

Story
I am a Siberian Husky mix and about 2 years old. I weigh about 60 pounds and love to snuggle. Trying new foods is fun for me; roasted broccoli is my new favorite. I am on the quieter side and am looking for a patient, loving family who will give me a little time to open up and adjust in my new home. I am a bit reserved in new environments and with unfamiliar people. Walking, bully sticks and being with my people are a few of my favorite things. Spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. $300 All of our adoptions come with a training session with one of our trainers.November 5, 2024, 5:14 pm

Story
Razzle is a 7 month old puppy that was born with his siblings in rescue. He has the most happy and loving personality. He is affectionate, loves to cuddle, is eager to please and he learns very quickly. He is currently housebroken, crate trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He also walks nicely on a leash, knows sit and loves giving eye contact for things he wants. At 8 weeks old, we found out he had megaesophagus. He was regurgitating and he was skinny so we took him to a specialist where he was diagnosed with ME. With the help of the vet and the Upright Canine Brigade support group, Razzle is not only been stable but he is now thriving. Although it took a little trial and error to find what works for Razzle we are happy that his care is not hard. 5 easy steps and this beautiful boy is gaining weight and sooo happy. 1. He must eat upright in his Bailey chair which will come with his adoption and he must stay there for 20 minutes afterwards. He is currently eating 1 1/2 cans of Kirkland canned dog food twice daily. 2. He cannot drink water so he eats Knox blocks after meals. (Easy to make with Knox Gelatin) 3. With each meal Razzle gets sildenafil. This helps the muscles in his esophagus keep his food in his stomach. 4. Following each meal, Razzle is kept quiet for about an hour before he can play and run around. 5. When Razzle is in his crate he wears a neck hug which will come with his adoption. With just a little extra care, Razzle will make an excellent companion for any family. All of our adoptions come with a session with our trainer. November 5, 2024, 5:14 pm

Story
Suki is a special pup, athletic and brave, curious and dignified, funny and independent, but most of all, affectionate and loving. She's a well-rounded dog with a ton of personality. Suki is great with kids and adults and is very playful and smart. She's an all-around good girl and is very friendly to people and other dogs, just not sure about cats. She's a perfect companion for anyone who's looking for a fun and adventurous partner in crime. She can be a bit of a diva, but she's worth it. Plus, she's house-trained and knows basic commands. Unfortunately, Suki has had a rough start to life and is in need of some extra TLC. She is currently attending "board and train" to learn some manners and skills, but she's a fast learner and will be ready to go to her forever home by the mid November. If you think you could be Suki's special someone, we would love to set up a meet and greet!
