You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fall is here and I am really hoping to find my forever home so that my first holiday season will be better than my wildest dreams!!  My name is Dewey and I am a 4 month old Akbash/GP male pup.  I'm a quieter natured pup who loves cuddles above all else.  I do well with the other dogs and even ignore the cat who sometimes comes to visit us.  I'm going to be a big boy!  I already weigh nearly 40 lbs and will likely end up around 100 or maybe over that.  I love to spend my days lounging in the house with my foster mom and the other dogs and playing outside whenever its not too hot.  I have been a good boy to use the dog door and go outside to potty and play.  Did I mention that I love kids?  Well I do!!  Whenever the kids come, I love getting to greet them and play on the grass with them.   I also like adults, but those kids are so fun!  My foster mom says she is going to cry when I leave because despite my rough start in life, I am such a sweet, gentle boy.  We spend a few minutes every night at the end of the day cuddling.  I think it is the favorite time of day for both of us.  I really hope to find a family that will make sure that the rest of my life is the best it can possibly be.  Please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 15, 2024, 7:07 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Want a BIG dog without all the fluff?  I'm your boy!  My name is Drago and I am a 4 month old Akbash/Great Pyrenees mix.  I am already close to 40 lbs and growing!  I'll likely be 100 + lbs as an adult.  I am a little more serious of a pup then some of the others.  My foster mom says I reflect on things more.   That doesn't stop me from loving play time with the other dogs.  I especially love when the kids come to visit, and I can run and play with them all over the yard!!  Those are the best times!  I also like to announce to the world whenever something new has invaded the area.  It's in my blood.  I kind of had a rough start in life and I'll need continued help to not be possessive of my food and treats.  My foster mom says I am doing really well and have minimal issues with it now.  I know I am happier because I am confident that there is going to be more food and treats all the time and my foster mom makes sure that I don't have to worry about anyone else taking the food from me.  I do love to spend time getting attention from people.  I also love playing with the other dogs.  I mostly ignore the cat who comes to visit us sometimes.  I am good about using the door to go in and out of the house.  I'm a smart boy and figured that out the first day I arrived.  Sleeping in the house on soft blankets is definitely a bonus, especially when it is hot outside.  I really hope that I can have a wonderful holiday season adjusting to my new forever family.  I'd love to spend Christmas sharing all the toys that the kids get.  hehe  Please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 15, 2024, 7:07 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Aspen came to us just in time, she was in a rural Utah shelter about to be euthanized.  Sweet girl loves people, she can't get enough attention. She lives in a foster home with 2 other dogs and a cat and does great! Aspen loves her outside time, especially in the cooler weather. She loves to sit outside and soak up the sun! She makes great use of the doggy door! She also loves the comforts of home, a nice nap on the couch is a great afternoon past time.  This beautiful girl would be a great floof to add to any family! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.What happens when a shelter has a policy that says, if you've been at the shelter for 90 days you're time is up?? For Savannah it meant she was going to be euthanized. She had been labeled dog aggressive by the shelter and our pleas for an "only dog" home were not finding the right person to help her. An 11th hour eval showed a different girl than what we'd been told, not dog aggressive at all. Once pulled from the shelter and waiting for transport we were even happier to see an absolutely wonderful girl who loves other dogs, and cats! Savannah is about 2 years old, spayed and UTD on shots.  She loves people more than anything, she wants all the affection she can get! Savannah is good with other dogs, and cats. She is great on a leash and good in the car. She does need some work with her manners, specifically jumping up. She gets so excited with people! We love our dog Malachite (Kai) so much, but we are all just too busy to take care of his needs and he deserves better. We haven't had time to keep up with his training but he trains easily. He's the sweetest most loving dog! However, he's a perfect guard dog too, his bark will scare off anyone with negative intentions. He's good with all kids and other dogs. He needs a yard to run and play in and someone to make sure he gets plenty of daily exercise. We also want him to live in a house and not an apartment. Kai was born June 11th 2022. We had him DNA tested and found out he's a mix of 10 different breeds but mostly Great Pyrenees. We have a copy of the DNA test to send you. We also have a dog crate, leash, brush, treats, poo bags, wipes, shock collar, food container, travel water bowl, dog food & water stand, dog deodorant spray, shampoo and conditioner, ear wipes and I'm sure a few other items (lol). If you are interested please contact me with any questions you may have.
