She lives in a foster home with 2 other dogs and a cat and does great! Aspen loves her outside time, especially in the cooler weather. She loves to sit outside and soak up the sun! She makes great use of the doggy door! She also loves the comforts of home, a nice nap on the couch is a great afternoon past time.  This beautiful girl would be a great floof to add to any family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. What happens when a shelter has a policy that says, if you've been at the shelter for 90 days you're time is up?? For Savannah it meant she was going to be euthanized. She had been labeled dog aggressive by the shelter and our pleas for an "only dog" home were not finding the right person to help her. An 11th hour eval showed a different girl than what we'd been told, not dog aggressive at all. Once pulled from the shelter and waiting for transport we were even happier to see an absolutely wonderful girl who loves other dogs, and cats! Savannah is about 2 years old, spayed and UTD on shots.  She loves people more than anything, she wants all the affection she can get! Savannah is good with other dogs, and cats. She is great on a leash and good in the car. She does need some work with her manners, specifically jumping up. She gets so excited with people! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This sweet big boy is Boulder, another floof whose history is unknown because he was a stray. Boulder has been with his foster for a couple of months now and he's ready to find his forever home.  This sweet guy is neutered and UTD on shots. He's good with submissive dogs and great with cats. Boulder's family will need to understand a couple of things about him. He doesn't want to sit. He will stand patiently or lie down, but sitting is a no. So we don't make him do that and his new family can't either! He also isn't going to be someone's walking buddy, leashes seem to cause him a lot of stress. So maybe a large backyard and another chill doggo to play with will be his exercise! He loves to stand and have head scratches and be told what a good boy he is. He likes to back up everywhere he goes, lol. He is an absolute sweetheart and he needs a wonderful laid back retirement home! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We see so many dogs being given away for free on FB, Toby was one of them. Fortunately for him we were able to find a foster to take him. He was scheduled to be neutered just 2 days after getting to his foster home but once there it was found that he was too sick to have any kind of surgery. Toby was full of worms and parasites! Poor guy.  He's spent the last couple of weeks on meds getting healthy, will be getting his shots and once healthy enough will be neutered and ready for his forever home.  This stunning blue eyed boy is a love! Great with other dogs and adores all people. Just no chickens for this floof! ;) His foster mom has been working with him on his walks, up until now he hasn't had much experience with that. He's also afraid of loud noises. That includes loud kiddos, squeaker toys, and other loud barking dogs. He's adjusting well to his foster home though and could be he just needs a few weeks to settle in. We'll know more soon so check back!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 4:10 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fall is here and I am really hoping to find my forever home so that my first holiday season will be better than my wildest dreams!!  My name is Dewey and I am a 4 month old Akbash/GP male pup.  I'm a quieter natured pup who loves cuddles above all else.  I do well with the other dogs and even ignore the cat who sometimes comes to visit us.  I'm going to be a big boy!  I already weigh nearly 40 lbs and will likely end up around 100 or maybe over that.  I love to spend my days lounging in the house with my foster mom and the other dogs and playing outside whenever its not too hot.  I have been a good boy to use the dog door and go outside to potty and play.  Did I mention that I love kids?  Well I do!!  Whenever the kids come, I love getting to greet them and play on the grass with them.   I also like adults, but those kids are so fun!  My foster mom says she is going to cry when I leave because despite my rough start in life, I am such a sweet, gentle boy.  We spend a few minutes every night at the end of the day cuddling.  I think it is the favorite time of day for both of us.  I really hope to find a family that will make sure that the rest of my life is the best it can possibly be.  Please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Pecan is a boatload of energy! He loves playtime, running, toys and people. He would play all day long with anyone he meets! HE could use some work on his leash manners, as he loves to play with it in his mouth. Toys would be a great redirect for him. Pecan would thrive best in a home with older, dog-savvy children, as his playstyle may be a little too “ruff” for younger children. He appears excited toward other dogs and cats here at the shelter. A meet and greet is available to anyone with a furry friend that is interested in adopting. Weighs 70 pounds; $50 to adopt.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Willow  has had a rough few years. Health issues have had this girl being a frequent visitor to the vet. We were contacted about this sweet girl and that her family was not able to afford her care and were considering euthanasia. Over the past several months and a couple of procedures, Willow is feeling good!! And now it’s time to find her a new home.  Willow had spent her life outside with a female ST Bernard. She prefers to be in charge but the two of them had gotten along well together.  She had been an outside dog but after months in her foster home Willow is now happy being an inside girl. This is what her foster mom says about her.... I'm looking for a family with lots of compassion and love to give. Most of my life was spent in a barn with little to no outside stimuli. My previous owners also debarked me. I still bark but it's very muted. That's why my foster home has been the perfect place for me to adjust as I have introduced to home life and lots of everyday stimuli but certain things still scare me. Mt temp family has also tried to help me gain my confidence with my muted way of communication by praising me for protecting the house when I bark! I love to be outside, it's sometimes hard to coax me in so my family can leave. I'd probably do amazing with free access in or out of the house with a secure yard a nd a dog door. I've never tried to fence jump or escape my yard. I love to play outside with myself and I love the snow! Don't waste time buying me toys because I snuff my nose at them, I prefer to be chased and played with in the yard with my humans. I grew up with another dog with my previous family and have played with neighbor dogs through the fence, I've been around cats and they don't seem to affect me at all but slow intros would be needed as I've lived in a home with no cats or dogs for several months now. I can be selective with dogs so slow intros are a must and I should pre-meet any pups living in your home to ensure compatibility and success. I take some time to warm up to new people and a longer period of time to warm up to men. Most of all, I love being with my people! I love attention and I'll nose nudge for pets and scratches. Belly rubs, pets, and treats are my favorite things. I am the best protector and love bug you'll ever meet. I love my snuffle mat and licky mat when I'm over stimulated by the garbage man or thunder, that stuff scares me and sometimes I need distracting stimuli to calm me down. Most of my time is spent napping, I'm fully house trained, I know command such as sit, down, place. However, I'm a typical Pyr and the word "come" seems to be a word I choose not to hear. I am fine being left unattended. I'd be a beautiful addition to any home, I'm an overall sweetheart. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jeannette and her sister Margot were dumped in Brigham City Utah. They were taken to the shelter after having several days of sight seeing. Margot has been adopted and is doing incredibly well in a loving home, it's time for Jeannette to have that too! Jeannette is an absolute love, she does well with other dogs but she can take several weeks to settle in. In her foster home it took her over a month to decide the other dogs were ok to play with and it was a good place to stay. For that reason Jeannette really needs 6ft fencing, since she has been known to be a bit of an escape artist! She has learned to be good with the cats but would need slow intros with new kitties in her new home. She chases chickens but could potentially be trained not to. She likes the goats and sheep and hates coyotes so she is a good protector but this floof craves people over livestock. Jeannette loves people!! She's always there to give hugs and kisses! This girl needs to be part of a family! Her ideal life would be acreage, tall fences, and a family. She would also love another big dog to play with, her BFF is a big male Pyr and she adores him!  Please apply for this love if you can give her the wonderful life she deserves. She is currently being fostered in WA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 5:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sheba is guessed to be around 6 years old. She absolutely adores people and can’t get enough attention!  She’s good with other dogs who are submissive and give her space. She encountered kittens and paid them no attention. She also doesn't understand her size so small animals should steer clear.  She is a certified fence jumper! She can clear a 6' vinyl fence! What an athlete, this girl is! Not to worry, she can easily be walked on a leash or put out on a zipline as long as she isn't left alone. She is a good girl in the home alone if you need to run errands! She has been bounced around from home to home and in and out of shelters where she shuts down. We found her a temporary foster with moments left to get her safe and now she desperately needs a forever family! This girl can't seem to catch a break and she needs her very own HERO! Are you going to be that HERO for her?    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 5:23 pm
