Taffy is the sweetest most gentle dog you can find. She is a small girl at 10 lbs, and comes up to you and puts her paws on your legs to ask for ear scratches. She loves her crate and seeks it out to rest in throughout the day, and sleeps quietly in it all night long. She was not house trained when she came to rescue, but she is doing very well here in her foster home. Not 100% but close! She gets along with dog, cats, and rabbits, men, women, and gentle children. She was a former puppy mill Momma, so she can be a little skittish if you approach fast, but she clearly loves people and seeks their attention. She is not a barker. Kimmie 5/17/20 Jerzee 3/1/20 Both of these girls are puppy mill survivors. They are female yorkies, both around 7-8 lbs. These girls are seriously the sweetest babies. They have come a long way in the last week and a half since being rescued. They are learning what it's like to be a dog and have human love and touch. They are both fearful still from their pasts, but how they've grown so quickly, I have no doubt they will have a wonderful life. They are starting to come out of their shells. Both girls love being warm and sleeping on comfy blankets. They are snugglers and enjoy being around their safe people. They are very playful and enjoy being around other dogs. Both will be fully vetted and spayed before adopted. They are ready for their FURever home and are looking for their Mommy or Daddy. They are working on their potty training. Tobi may no longer be in the prime of his dog years but try telling him that. He's a little dog with a lot of sass. If he wants attention, he will give a little back. If he's hungry, he's going to huff & stare at you until you get your act together. He doesn't have many teeth left, but the ones he has he puts to good use. He loves treats and soft dog food. He is very exuberant about his treats, so you have to watch your fingers or one of the few teeth he has left might catch you. Tobi has no problem with other dogs and cats but would prefer a more mellow atmosphere. Due to his age, he urinates quite a bit, so he will have to go out often, but he does his very best to go potty outside. However, accidents do happen. Tobi may also have some vision problems. While he still seems to have his sight, it is impaired, kind of the Mr. Magoo of dogs, but he manages to get around. He does fairly well with small sets of stairs but will stumble if he gets too excited or his eyes misguide him. That being said, he is a happy little guy looking for a welcoming place to live out his golden years.#483538

Original Profile:  The Wrestler Pack is a group of young dogs from 3-6 whose owner passed away.  They were left in poor grooming condition and had fleas.  They have now been clipped, bathed, treated for fleas, and updated their vet care.  They have been started on vaccines, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.  Prior to adoption they will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested negative, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and passed a veterinary exam.  The have also received dentals if needed. They are all friendly dogs but seem to have never walked on a leash.  They may have spent much of their time outside, so we don't know about their housetraining.  They do want to be with other dogs and get along well with each other, so may have separation anxiety if there isn't another dog in the home.  (Don't have another dog, think about adopting two if you have the time, space, and finances.  There is a reduced adoption fee for adopting a pair.)  We don't know if they have been exposed to children or to cats.  The little ones who have gone into foster homes are doing very well!
