Meet Benji! Age: Senior Weight: 20 pounds (give or take. Who still weighs themselves?) Good with: Dogs, cats, kids (the perfect teifecta!) Houstrained: yes (but do best on a schedule and should be let out every 4-5 hours to avoid accidents). Crate trained: I don't need one because I just snooze while you're away! Special needs: blind, but get around great and diabetic, but easy peasy lemon squeezy! Plus my medicine is only about $25 a month from Wal-Mart! I'm a pretty easy-going, fun-loving little dude. I might not see with my eyes, but given just a little adjustment period, I see everything in all the other ways! I can jump up on the couch for a nap, or to sit with my humans, and I love being outside exploring the fenced yard in my foster home, but i also know how to walk on a leash for some great sniffaris. I love car rides, too! Foster mom says I'm the easiest diabetic dog she's ever had, and I don't even need special food, I just eat the kibble like everyone else here, and I do wonderful with it. I hope you can see past my special needs and see that I can be just like any other pup! *Benji is being fostered in Edgar, WI. Taffy is the sweetest most gentle dog you can find. She is a small girl at 10 lbs, and comes up to you and puts her paws on your legs to ask for ear scratches. She loves her crate and seeks it out to rest in throughout the day, and sleeps quietly in it all night long. She was not house trained when she came to rescue, but she is doing very well here in her foster home. Not 100% but close! She gets along with dog, cats, and rabbits, men, women, and gentle children. She was a former puppy mill Momma, so she can be a little skittish if you approach fast, but she clearly loves people and seeks their attention. She is not a barker. Nala is a sweet little nugget with her big brown eyes and short legs. She loves all people and would do well in a home with respectful children twelve years or older. Her favorite spot would be on your lap receiving belly rubs. Nala and Gizmo protect each other, so being the only pups in the home would be ideal. When playtime is over, she will quietly walk away and find a cozy bed to rest. She is very laid back and doesn’t have a care in the world. Just looking at her will melt your heart. Nala will let you know when she is hungry, it’s the only time she barks. When she hears her meals being prepared, she barks until her meal is in front of her.
