Story
Hazel and Parker were recently surrendered in WI by a family that loved them more than anything. Unfortunately, their dad was very ill and could no longer give them the life they deserve. They are a package deal and the best of friends! They are almost 5 and 6 and have lost the puppy energy. If you want chill and snuggly dogs, these two are for you! Their favorite things is to be right by their humans getting all the cuddles. They are both potty (Parker sometimes has accidents if you don't let him out quick enough) and crate trained, and are great with kids. They are not a big fan of one of the big dogs in their foster home as he just wants to play and Hazel and Parker just want to be left alone. However, they get along with the other 2 dogs in the foster home because they allow them to have their space. Hazel enjoys toys and bones. Parker is content just being by your side or by Hazel. Anyone would be so entirely lucky to have them. If interested, please apply at sandipaws.org-Special adoption fee is $300 for the pairThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Story
Meet Benji! Age: Senior Weight: 20 pounds (give or take. Who still weighs themselves?) Good with: Dogs, cats, kids (the perfect teifecta!) Houstrained: yes (but do best on a schedule and should be let out every 4-5 hours to avoid accidents). Crate trained: I don't need one because I just snooze while you're away! Special needs: blind, but get around great and diabetic, but easy peasy lemon squeezy! Plus my medicine is only about $25 a month from Wal-Mart! I'm a pretty easy-going, fun-loving little dude. I might not see with my eyes, but given just a little adjustment period, I see everything in all the other ways! I can jump up on the couch for a nap, or to sit with my humans, and I love being outside exploring the fenced yard in my foster home, but i also know how to walk on a leash for some great sniffaris. I love car rides, too! Foster mom says I'm the easiest diabetic dog she's ever had, and I don't even need special food, I just eat the kibble like everyone else here, and I do wonderful with it. I hope you can see past my special needs and see that I can be just like any other pup! *Benji is being fostered in Edgar, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). This is a cruel way to treat any animal. Duke is ready to find his FOREVER family who will love him and treat him like a family member. He is so sweet and even though he has been discarded, he holds his royal head high and knows that he deserves better! He's even registered with the AKC and we were able to get his paperwork.   His WI foster says, 'Since we brought him home with us yesterday, he has spent his time lounging and following us around the house. He is the perfect lap dog and companion for someone/a family that wants a calm dog who loves to cuddle. He did great walking on a leash and has no problem spending time in his crate if needed. He is just SO lovable!!!'  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. November 6, 2024, 12:34 am
