Story
Gregory was found in a crate on the side of the road with 3 other dogs, heavily matted, very dirty and hungry. After being examinded by our veterinarian, he was shaved and bathed. He is the bravest, most outgoing of the group and loves everyone! He is a little protective of his foster family and Guinevere, and is not afraid to defend them from the other dog in his foster home. Foster family is working on the jealousy with him. He is always jumping up for attention, and will walk on his back legs following his humans. He initially was jumping up on counters and tables, perhaps never being trained otherwise, but has learned "Off please", as he hears it a LOT in his foster home. He loves to cuddle and will be the first one onto an available lap, usually burrowing under the blanket for extra warmth. Hopefully, when his coat starts to grow back, he will be able to stay warm on his own. He likes to be near his human and Guinevere and doesn't stray far. He is crate trained, and sleeps in there and also during the times his foster is away during the day. He is VERY food motivated, and will eat all his meal, and everyone else's if given the opportunity. He is a real lovebug and would be best in a busy home with lots of laps to snuggle on, and belly rubs to be given. He would benefit from a fun obedience program to help him gain more confidence. He is up to date on his vaccines, is heartworm negative and has been flea and tick treated, and is microchipped, and is booked for his neuter surgery at the end of November. His adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt him can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption and scroll to the bottom of the page. All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for him, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet him before an application has been approved. We thankyou for respecting these guidelines.

Story
Gabreilla was found in a crate on the side of the road with her 3 friends, heavily matted, extremely dirty and hungry. After a thorough examination from our veterinarian, she was shaved and bathed. In her foster home, she is very loving, doesn't like to be alone and is very excited to see her humans when they arrive home from work. She is crate trained and sleeps there at night, and when left alone. She prefers to be touching her humans and will follow them around until there is an available lap to cuddle on. She is potty trained, loves her meals, walks well on leash and is good in the car. She is fostered with another dog and cats and made friends with them quickly. Like her siblings, she would be best in a home that someone is home the majority of the time, and can take the time to help her become more confident. She is up to date on her vaccines, is heartworm negative, has been flea and tick treated, and is microchipped, and is booked for her spay surgery at the end of November. Her adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt her can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com.
