Pixi was a breeder release and can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she's all about cuddles. She gets nervous with fast movements, so she'll do best with a calm, patient owner who can help her gain confidence at her own pace. Pixi is safest with a secure fence and a dog to teach her the ropes. She barks at the door but settles down quickly once she realizes everything's fine. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Figaro is an approximately 1 year old Yorkshire terrier who came to the shelter on November 8th from a local breeder release. He's tiny but mighty, under 5 pounds right now. He's a friendly little dude but is kind of shy upon first meeting. He will be neutered on Nov. 26th and  his fee is $200. Figaro is looking for an adult only home who is somewhat experienced with his breed or similar breeds. He needs a secure environment and will require training in all areas. He should be fine with other smaller dogs and cats. He will require regular grooming. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
