Story
DOB Christmas Day 12-25-2023 Kevin is for sure an angel. He loves to play with the other pups, toys and is social. Kevin is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart 6 preventative injection. His adoption fee is 950.00, transport fee is 165.00 and paid to our transport company, HEARTS LLC He will get a physical and health certificate before he leaves. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
This darling boy is called Lil Deuce Coup and he's a lively boy that is currently being tormented by a 3 year old child.   HD us 8 years old and a Yorkie mix weighing 9 pounds.  Getting groomed this week and a full vet visit with bloodwork done and microchipped.   This guy has kept his cool since the baby was born but enough us enough. At one time he was potty trained but currently he is not.  You know the story.  Baby comes later after dog was raised as their 'baby' and then potty training goes out the window.  This is reversible and we have tips to change it.  Lil Coup deserves a long life of peace and tranquility!  Can you give test to him? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  asap       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 30, 2025, 7:52 pm

Story
Pinky is available to meet by appointment. Submit an application and an Adoption Counselor will reach out to you.Pinky can be a little persnickety when first meeting him, and doesn`t like being touched much until he has time to get to know you. Pinky has done very well in a foster home, and has really started to relax and open up. This is big for this little guy, given the condition he was in when he first came to us. Pinky was found wandering the streets and never claimed, so he was not the most trusting of people in the beginning. Also, when he first got to us his skin was bright pink, irritated and he had a ton of hair loss- we believe a mix of his poor health and lack of positive interactions with people led to his handling sensitivities- with positive reinforcement and the right medications he has come a long way but there is still room for improvement. Luckily this guy is a major foodie so snacks are definitely the key to earn his trust. He is pee-pad trained and does really well indoors, so anyone looking for a low key dog who doesn`t need to go out much would find their perfect match here! Despite his rotund figure he is quite playful! He loves his toys- stuffies that crinkle and squeak, balls he can chase after- you can tell he really loves a specific toy when he makes little piglike snorts which he’ll also make for you (when he decides you’re pals) when you walk in the door. Pinky certainly knows how to make you feel loved in his own funny way! There is no way not to love him when you see him sleeping belly up in his big fluffy bed, which he often likes to do. He just needs someone to give him a chance and let him have a bit of time to get to know you, and also someone who understands small dogs who can be a little particular, or dare we say, cranky at times. Pinky is looking for an adult only home so that he can continue to become accustomed to handling and build a bond with his person at his own pace. He is considered a special needs adoption due to his thyroid issues that he is on medication for as well as his handling sensitivities. Despite all his quirks, Pinky can be a really great dog for the right type of person and we`re sure his perfect match will come along. Do you have persnickety little dog experience and are willing to give this guy the patience and love he deserves? Submit an application to learn more about him!Pinky is now part of the extended stay club! Since he`s been here for longer, his adoption fee has been re
