Story
Kenny is an adorable one-year-old Morkie (Maltese/yorkie mix), weighing in at under five pounds—the perfect tiny companion! This little guy is full of love and personality. He adores playing with toys and gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats alike. Kenny is a true Velcro pup! He will follow you everywhere and wants to be by your side at all times. He doesn’t like to be left alone, so he would do best in a home where someone is around often. He enjoys his plush bed, sleeps in his crate at night, but would happily snuggle in yours if allowed! Due to his small size, we escort him outside for potty breaks. He’s also the perfect travel buddy. He does great in the car and enjoys road trips! Whether you’re looking for a lap dog or an adventure companion, Kenny is the best of both worlds. Kenny is neutered (monorchid inguinal neuter), microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and recently had a dental cleaning and ear exam. He is currently healing from his procedure and is ready to find his forever home! His adoption fee is $2,300. It covers his monorchid inguinal neuter due to a retained testicle which included additional anesthesia time. He also had a dental cleaning and had his ears examined. He will go home with a clean bill of health. Located in Hesperia, CA. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location so long as it is covered by the adopter. We have a transport heading to Colorado Springs at the end of April/early May, passing through Flagstaff, AZ! If you’re in these areas and interested in adopting, now’s the perfect time. Story
This pup was originally rescued from a commercial breeding facility. He was on their euthanasia list as she was unable to be sold and was "taking up space". Another local rescue stepped in and rescued dozens of dogs scheduled for euthanasia, but did not have enough space for all of them, so a few were transferred into our care. We have been able to provide them with vet care and get them ready to be adopted.   We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. Dogs adopted with our rescue come with FREE training from #GoodPup to help you build strong bonds from the start! If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  ##2323516##

Story
Meet Puppy. We got him as a puppy when my son was only 2 years old and that's what he always called him so the name just kind of stuck. We also call him Pup-pup. As he's gotten older he has become less tolerant to children so a childless home would be best for him. I am currently about to give birth to a baby and so we have made the hard decision to rehome him for safety reasons. He is bonded with our other dog Cookie who is also listed on Adopt a Pet. Ideally we would love for both of them to be adopted together but it isn't a must. Puppy is an anxious dog. He hates thunder and fireworks but loves to run and play and go for walks. He has Yorkie hair so grooming regularly would be best to keep him from matting. We're looking for an experienced adopter who is patient and caring. Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Channing, and I am a beautiful Yorkie girl who is 3 years old, and I weigh 12 pounds. I know I am a bigger girl, but with love and patience, I will be your best friend. A sibling to help me learn all about this big new world is essential. If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
