If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Karla, and I am beautiful Yorkie girl who is 6 years old, and I weigh 8 pounds. I have been shaved but my beautiful coat will grow back. I am very afraid of this big new world, so I need an all-adult home with a socialized sibling to show me the ropes. If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Karla 111924-19  November 20, 2024, 9:39 pm

Story
Meet Marv: From Rescue to RoyaltyMarv, a sweet and curious Yorkie, came to us in desperate need of care, his vision obscured by mats and dirt. But now, with his newfound cleanliness and a transformation into the handsome prince he was always meant to be, Marv’s personality is beginning to shine through.A little shy at first, Marv is endlessly curious about his new world. He observes everything with a thoughtful demeanor, and when he flashes his adorable crooked grin, it’s impossible not to fall in love. Marv is ready to leave his past behind and embrace the joys of life outside of a cage.He needs a patient and loving family to guide him as he learns to trust and experiences all the wonderful things about being a cherished dog. Could you be the one to show Marv the life he’s been waiting for?- - - - -Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
