Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react Hi! My name is Keera, and I am a gorgeous Parti Biewer Yorkie girl who is 6 years old, and I weigh 13 pounds. I am as sweet as they come and would make a great walking buddy. If you want a yorkie that's not fragile and tiny, I'm your girl. I ride perfectly in the car and would make a great rv travel baby! I need an adopter who will spend lots of time with me as I am very sweet and social and I would love to be the center of your world. If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Keera 021724-31  November 1, 2024, 7:29 pm

Story
Madison is a darling little Yorkie Mix who came into our rescue with her sister from another rescue. At 18 months she is full grown and about 10 lbs. Although less so than her sister, Madison is shy and very gentle and absorbs affection and attention like someone would inhale the aroma of a home baked cookie. She may seem a bit fearful but is never aggressive and you can tell from her body language how much she loves any attention you are willing to lavish on her. She has a coat that is currently a bit thin but improved nutrition will help this. Her coat will always be easy to keep free of mats and be easy to groom. She is fully vetted including spay, vaccines and microchip. Well we are not sure if she has been around small children she has a temperament that I think would assure that she would be good with kids. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well potty trained Madison is but she is eager to please. With gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise she should be easy to train. Madison's adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
