Story
Katie is originally from Kentucky, but ended up dumped in Ohio at the seven mile bridge. She had to be trapped because of how terrified she was, and then was taken to animal control before we rescued her. Unfortunately she still does take some time to warm up to strangers. She is so very sweet once she knows you can be trusted, and uses other dogs as a security blanket.

Story
Hi there! My name is Georgie GIrl! I am a young, maybe around a year or so, female Whippet/Hound mix. I only weigh about 33 lb. I had to put on weight when my foster mom got me from the shelter. I was skin and bones. I guess wherever I came from originally must have pretty much starved me. I am not afraid of people so I don't think I was abused. Just neglected which is bad enough. I am a happy little girl. I love other dogs and people. My foster mom loves to watch me run around the back yard like a race horse. I fly! That is why she thinks I may have Whippet in me. also because I am small. I do have some kind of coonhound or hound in me. I have that hound dog bark. I am crate trained. I am not totally house broke but close. I love food and would eat all day if I could. I think that is because I was so starved as a puppy. I still act a lot like a puppy in that I can get into mischief if you leave your shoes or something laying about.. I would be good around older kids.,\. The reason I say that is because I am so food motivated, and treat motivated, I might grab a cookie or something out of a toddlers hand. That wouldn't be good. So I would do best with either no kids or older kids. I am very friendly and affectionate. I should have a fenced in yard to run in. I have a wonderful nature. I hope if you like hound dogs, you will consider me to be your new best friend. Love and little kisses, Georgie Girl xoxox
