Story
Bagheera is a petite 5 year young terrier mix with a tender heart hiding behind a brave little front. She may be a bit vocal when first approach in her kennel, but once she’s out, her body softens, her ears relax, and she begins to seek gentle affection, even trying to curl into your lap once she feels safe. Still learning to trust, Bagheera thrives with patient, experienced guidance and blossoms with kindness and calm handling. She walks nicely on leash, knows “sit,” and has shown she can coexist with other dogs when given proper structure. This sweet, sensitive girl is looking for a teen-and-up home willing to help her build confidence and show her that love can be steady and safe. Story
This sweet girl has raised her puppies and is finally ready for a life that’s all about her. Her days of motherhood are behind her, and now it’s time for fun, adventures, and being spoiled like the baby she deserves to be. She loves going on walks and does great on a leash, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. She also rides nicely in the car, so she’s ready to tag along wherever the road leads. All she wants now is a family to love her, take her on adventures, and remind her that the best part of life is still ahead. 🐾💛 Great either way little kids and other dogs. Zona is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Story
Meet Milo — a 10-month-old, 30lbs sweetheart with a soft soul, gentle eyes, and a heart full of love ❤️ Milo is a thoughtful, gentle young boy with a calm and affectionate nature. He takes in the world with curiosity and care, and once he’s comfortable, his sweet personality truly shines. Milo forms strong bonds with his people and is the kind of pup who will be deeply loyal and loving to his family. Rescued as a puppy, Milo has been raised in a safe, nurturing environment thanks to our partner SOS el Arca Animal Rescue. This solid foundation has helped him grow into a well-mannered, loving pup who is ready to continue blossoming in a forever home. Milo does wonderfully with other dogs and would especially thrive in a home with a confident canine companion. Having another dog helps him feel comfortable, learn routines, and gain confidence through positive social interaction. He’s gentle with children and is curious—but respectful—around cats, and would do well with proper introductions. He is crate trained and currently working on potty training. With a consistent routine and continued positive reinforcement, Milo is expected to keep making great progress. He will do best in a home that offers structure, patience, and encouragement as he continues to grow. We highly recommend puppy classes or confidence-building training for Milo—not only to support his learning, but also to strengthen the bond with his new family and help him continue developing into a well-rounded companion. Milo is fully vetted and ready for his forever home: -Neutered -Microchipped -Fully vaccinated -Dewormed -4DX tested (heartworm negative) -On flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Milo has the opportunity to travel to New York in April, but he can only make the trip with a committed adopter, foster-to-adopt, or foster home in place. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pup who will thrive with companionship and guidance, Milo may be the perfect addition to your family. Fill out an adoption application and email it to us at sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com — we’ll happily get back to you. Milo is ready for his next chapter—one filled with love, security, and a family to call his own ❤️

Story
Meet Muffin — a 9-month-old, 30-lb bundle of love, curiosity, and playful energy 💛 Muffin adores playing with other dogs, loves affection, and is happiest when being petted and showered with love. He truly is one of the sweetest little boys you could ask for. Muffin was found with his mom, who had given birth to a litter of seven puppies in a local park. A kind-hearted person brought the family to our partners at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where Muffin grew up safe, healthy, and well cared for. Thanks to the love of his caretakers, he’s now ready to find his forever home. Muffin has the opportunity to travel to New York in April, but only if we can secure an adopter or a foster-to-adopt home in time. He is a gentle, loving boy who will adapt beautifully to a new household. He’s eager to please, easy to guide, and full of joyful puppy charm. He enjoys the company of other dogs, is great with children, and is curious about cats — he’d happily try to make friends with them too. Muffin is crate trained and currently learning potty training. With continued guidance and a regular schedule, he is expected to do very well in his new home. As with all puppies, we recommend enrolling Muffin in a fun group puppy class to help him continue learning, build confidence, and make new friends. Muffin is fully vetted: • Neutered • Microchipped • Fully vaccinated • Dewormed • 4DX tested (heartworm negative) • On flea, tick, and heartworm prevention If your heart is open to Muffin, please fill out an adoption application at sosanimalwelfare.org or email us at sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com. Story
Rubi is a stunning little beauty, full of joy and life! She is playful, happy, and wonderfully curious about the world around her. Rubi loves exploring, meeting new people, and discovering everything life has to offer. She has a bright, joyful personality and a sweet spirit that makes everyone around her smile. Life didn’t start easily for Rubi and her siblings. Rubi, along with her brothers Ron, Rudy, and Rufus, was abandoned overnight in a box outside the shelter. They were wet, cold, and very hungry when they were found. Thankfully, our partner rescue, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue, took them in and provided shelter, veterinary care, and lots of love. Since then, Rubi and her siblings have grown into beautiful, healthy puppies. Rubi will be 6 months old in April, which means she will be ready to travel to New York and start her new life with a loving family. She is an affectionate and playful puppy who will thrive in a home where she can continue learning, playing, and growing with her people. Rubi is expected to grow into a medium-size dog, making her a wonderful companion for many different types of homes and lifestyles. She is also crate trained, which helps with potty training and makes the transition into a new home smoother and easier for both Rubi and her future family. Rubi is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and 4DX tested. She is also on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention (Simparica). We are currently looking for a committed adopter or foster-to-adopt home so Rubi can travel to New York on the next transport. If you are looking for a joyful, loving puppy who will bring happiness and energy into your life, Rubi could be the perfect addition to your family. To adopt Rubi, please complete an application and email sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com.
