My rescue believes I didn’t get out into the world much before coming to them, so everything feels new—like I’m experiencing life for the first time. Because of that, I meet new people cautiously, wanting to be sure they’re kind. But with patience and love, I will learn to trust you. I get along well with other animals and absolutely love gentle hugs. Once I feel safe, my affectionate and loving personality truly shines. I also walk great on a leash I’m spayed, up-to-date on all my vaccinations, and ready to find a patient, caring home where I can continue to grow and feel safe. Meet a true Princess—elegant Dana! She’s an 18-month-old, 35-lb bundle of love that you just want to hug! Her sweet, gentle, and graceful nature is hard to resist. She is great with children, naturally kind and sweet with them. She also gets along with other dogs and cats as well. She is a super playful little girl who loves to roll over for belly rubs!! Dana is in rescue because, sadly, she was abandoned by her owners, who moved and left her behind. Fortunately, our rescue was able to take her in and assure her that she will never be abandoned again! She is being fostered with two pups and a cat in Manhattan. She’s adapted to the city very quickly, and comes daily to her foster mom’s office where she greats everybody with a wagging tail. She loves going for walks and play in a doggy run in Madison Sq Park. Dana is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for heart worm, currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, and dewormed. She is a perfect mix—we believe she has some Whippet and some German Shepherd, not only because of her looks but because she is very smart and easily trainable. She is a sweet, affectionate, and goofy little pup who is always ready for a walk. She loves everyone—kids, dogs, and anyone she meets on her walks. She will be your best friend in no time! Keicy was found on the street as a puppy by a Good Samaritan who brought her to SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where she was raised with love and care. She is now ready to be scooped up by her own people! She is being fostered with a family with 2 kids, in Queen, New York. She is great with other dogs, very friendly and playful with them, so she could easily join a household with another dog or be a single dog. She is a confident dog, so she can be adopted in the city, as well as in the suburbs. Her potty training has begun and is in progress. Crate training and routine will assist greatly with this. Prada is a sweet, playful, and very curious girl. This 10-month-old pup is ready to be scooped up by her own people! Prada loves attention, playing with other dogs, and going for walks. Her walking-on-a-leash skills improve daily as she is a fast learner. She loves to go out for her walks with her foster mom and play in the backyard with her foster sister, Mila. She is a confident girl and very friendly to everyone. She is also food motivated, so it’s easy to get her attention where she responds with a wagging tail! She was found as a stray roaming around a busy street, and, luckily, a concerned tourist brought her into the shelter. We are grateful she didn’t experience street life for long. Prada gets along with other dogs well and behaves fine around cats—she showed nothing more than indifference to them after being cat-tested at the shelter. Whether you’re a family of one or ten, Prada would make an excellent addition to your life. She can be a single dog but also easily join your dog pack as she is very friendly and playful.
