Hello! My name is Churro ! I am a female 10 month old Padenco Canario mix, and we are known for being ancient hunters! We also have a reputation for being great family dogs, and I am no exception! I can be a little timid when we first meet, but it takes me less than 5 minutes to warm up to you! I do better with women than men, but I warm up to men as well. I am great with kids, and currently in a hole with 3, but I may love your kids enough to want to jump up, so kids 8-10 and up is best while I learn healthy boundaries! I had a great time meeting dogs, but the rescue thinks it’s best that I go to a cat free home, based on my breed, because I want to play and chase them, and they don’t like playing with me! Mako knows a few basic commands such as come, sit, off and leave it. He is crate trained, mostly potty trained with us, great with kids and all dogs. Unsure about cats however with a proper introduction she should do well. Mako has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, fully vaccinated x 4 DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella vaccine, a 4 DX test (Testing for 2 types of Tick, Lyme and Heartworm Nexgard Spectra (Flea, Tick & Heartworm preventative), 2 dewormings, 2 fecal tests. Adopters receive all original paperwork, a 14 day health guarantee, collar, Harness, leash, seatbelt lock and a weeks worth of food. We operate on a first come first serve basis.
