Story
This is Ringo. Here are five things to love about Ringo: 1. Size. He is under 25 pounds and about 18 inches tall making him a perfect lap dog. 2. His demeanor. He is one of the happiest dogs I’ve met. 3. How dog friendly he is. He has already met all my neighbors dogs and loves them. 4. How kid friendly he is. We have multiple neighbors that have children and he is keen to meet and love on all of them. 5. He is SO handsome. I don’t need to elaborate, you’ll understand when you see his picture. Ringo is a 1-2 year old beagle, he is small and an incredibly sweet boy. Ringo would LOVE to have a dog sibling to play with and a nice big yard. A fenced in yard would be a plus but not a deal breaker if you keep him on leash. He has done great with our cats but does engage in chasing them if they are running. Our cats are not very dog savvy and he definitely would do better with cats that don’t take off every time they see him. I truly have not met a happier dog. He loves everything and everyone he meets. He is also VERY quiet. With him being a hound I expected more barking but he barely makes a peep. Some things you will need to work on with Ringo: 1. Potty training. He is doing great with it so far and has only had one accident. 2. Obedience. He sometimes doesn’t have his listening ears on and will choose to ignore you. He likes to try and snack out of the litter boxes or the cat food. 3. Needs to be able to burn energy every day. He has a lot of energy and loves to be outside. He is such a good boy and deserves the best forever home. Fill out an application for Ringo at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt.
