Fern is a 5-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix with a gentle soul and a love for life’s simple pleasures. After spending several years on the streets with her former owner, Fern is ready for a softer chapter filled with stability, comfort, and companionship.She loves going for walks and little adventures and walks beautifully on a leash, making her a wonderful partner for strolls and exploring. Fern is typically very calm and easygoing—until she spots someone she really likes, when her affectionate side shines through. She may be able to live with another dog given slow, thoughtful introductions, but she’s much more interested in being with her person than playing with toys.Fern is happiest curled up next to you on the couch, sharing quiet moments and movie nights. While she can be left alone when needed, she truly thrives on companionship and would make a loyal, loving addition to a home looking for a calm, devoted friend. ??
