Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER :  BIG MAMA HISTORY : Big Mama was rescued by animal control for  abuse. She was tied to a tree and left outside in all  types of weather and temperature year round with absolutely no shelter.   PERSONALITY : Big Mama is a perfect dog. She is big and fluffy, loves cuddles and is goofy and entertaining. She listens well, comes when called and is very obedient. She is a Tibetan Mastiff but acts like a lab. Very calm and relaxed all the time.   FAVORITE ACTIVITIES : Walks.  Big Mama loves to go for walks and enjoys meeting new people. She will sit for pets.  She is safe and gentle around all kinds of people (kids, teens, adults and older adults). Big Mama loves playing with, chewing, throwing, and chasing toys. She enjoys running with her  older foster brother. Shealso  loves the outside during the cooler days and the air conditioner vents during the warmer days. MEDICAL ISSUES :  None known. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME : Big Mama loves the outdoors especially during the cooler days. She would love to spend her time lying outside so a fenced in yard or a house with a covered patio would be nice. A big dog sibling would be nice for her to run around with. Big Mama is still a puppy at heart and loves to play. She likes walks and attention so a family that can walk her, give her lots of attention and expose her to new things would be ideal. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS : Big Mama is a very loving, sweet and kind dog. She is intelligent and sensitive.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption.  Proof of any of the following exceptions is required: The intact dog is a working member of a law enforcement, or search and rescue/recovery team. The intact dog is registered under the auspices of the American Kennel Club and is actively being shown. Story
Noel is ready for her forever family! Her brother, Nicholas, is in his forever home and now it’s her turn 💜 This cutie is a 7 month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is a little shy when she first meets new people but warms up quickly with the promise of treats! Either a few treats, Noel will do just about anything 😝 Noel is good on leash and in her crate! She is fostered by a working family, so she is used to being kenneled while her family is gone. She is great with other pups but does best in a small group play setting, she thinks dog parks are overwhelming! She loves to play, but also loves to snuggle up on the couch 🥰 With a love for cuddling and a playful spirit, she'd thrive in a family that enjoys both. She is potty & crate trained and sits on cue! She is very treat-driven which makes her so much fun to train. Whether as a single dog receiving lots of love or part of a furry friend group, Noel is ready to bring joy to her forever home. 🐾🩷 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
