Story
Josie is a sweetheart. Loves to snuggle and play fetch. She is a true Velcro dog, but almost to a fault. She suffers from separation anxiety and does not like to be confined to a crate. She will drool excessively when she stays in one. She gets very excited when I return from work or anywhere and will bark and jump and it can be intimidating, but she is not aggressive towards me or my husband. She will calm down after a few minutes and then turns into a chill girl laying on the floor near you or playing with her toys. She is protective of her people and does bark at strangers sometimes. She also does not get along with female dogs and has had three fights with my 2 senior girls but gets along great with our male dog. She has gone to two trainers to try to help build her confidence and help him her anxiety. She is currently on Trazadone when we go to work. She would do best in a home with no female dogs and with someone who has patience with dogs with anxiety.

He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate.He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed.
