Story
My name is Bobby Roosevelt, I’m timid at first but have a big personality once you get to know me! I love playing with toys, bells, and hiding in my cubby. I’m quite the chatterbox, and quite the cuddle bug too.

Story
Chanel is very affectionate and playful. She sits on your lap, comes when you call, loves playing games with you. She loves being chased. You can pick her up, roll her around, rub her belly, and she will never swipe. She allows baths, being brushed and having her nails cut. Great with kids. Chanel is litter-trained, will also go outside. She has only ever used the wood pellets. Traveled with her internationally and she did fine. When my baby nephew comes to visit, he will grab her fur or pat her head, and she just takes it and wanders around following him everywhere. Korean Shorthairs have personalities that are curious and high-energy and love people. Talkative, like a Siamese. Needs a home that has plenty of space, a family who does not mind her making noise. I socialized her well since she was a kitten. Chanel is really unlike any other cat I have met. She's the absolute sweetest. Cuddly, energetic and clever.

Story
Grace is a gentle 10 year old tabby. She was adopted from the shelter 6 years ago. She was de-clawed by her previous owner, so needs an indoor environment. She prefers a quiet environment. Her previous owner stated she stopped using her litter box and was relinquished. We had no issues with her until about a year ago when our circumstances changed and we had to make frequent trips to care for an elderly parent and grandchildren. Grace has started peeing outside the litter box while we are gone and more recently when we return. If confined to a small space this behavior stops, but we cannot accommodate that for a long period of time. She is a beautiful cat and has been a good pet, but is currently in distress which is hard on everyone

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Eileen – our terrific little tripod with a heart just as big as her story. About a year and a half ago, I was spotted at a local brewery with a badly broken back leg. The kind staff tried to get me help, but I disappeared before anyone could find me. For a long time, no one knew what happened to me… until I made a surprise reappearance this March! This time, some amazing trappers were ready, and they made sure I finally got the help I needed. Unfortunately, my leg couldn’t be saved—but the good news? I don't need it to keep living my best life! And even better… everyone quickly realized I’m not just a survivor, I’m a sweetheart. What started as a “trap, amputate, and return” plan quickly turned into a mission to find me the loving forever home I deserve. Now that I’m safely indoors, I’ve adjusted beautifully. I get around just fine on three legs and am more focused on the important things in life—like perfecting my biscuit-making skills (and taste-testing plenty of snacks… I love my treats!). I’m happy to share my space with other cats and enjoy a peaceful, cozy environment. Because I’m a tripod, I’d do best in a slower-paced home where I can move around comfortably and relax at my own pace. Give me a soft spot to land, some tasty snacks, and a little love, and I’ll be your most loyal companion. I’ve already overcome so much—now I’m just waiting for my happy ending. Story
Meet Jules — a two-year-old brown tabby with a confident, outgoing personality and a heart full of charm! This handsome guy brings a fun, social energy wherever he goes and isn’t shy about making himself part of the action. Jules started his journey outdoors alongside other feline friends Vincent, Jimmie and Mia, where a kind family looked out for him. Thanks to their care—and a second chance at a better life—he’s made a smooth transition to indoor living and is clearly enjoying all the comforts of home. Currently in foster with Mia, Jules gets along well with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship. While he and Mia are not bonded, Jules would do best in a home with another friendly cat to keep him company and share in his daily adventures. Confident and curious, Jules settles into new situations with ease and is always ready to explore, play, and interact. He does well with cat-savvy kids who understand how to respectfully engage with a spirited, social kitty like him. Whether he’s chasing toys, greeting you at the door, or hanging out nearby, Jules is a fun-loving companion who’s ready to bring energy, affection, and a little extra sparkle into his forever home. Story
Hi! I’m Prim, a lovely lady looking for my forever lap. I’m a gentle soul who thrives in a calm environment. I’m tolerant of little ones, but I’ve made it clear I’m much happier in a home without small children. I’ve never bitten; I just prefer the "quiet life" with single owners, childless couples, or families with older teens. The "Sister" Factor: I have a sister named Jiji, and we are a bonded pair. We’d love to stay together! (See her separate listing for details). My mom is heartbroken to rehome us, but a severe cat allergy in the house means we need a new start. Starter Kit Included: To make our transition easy, Mom is sending us with our cat tree, XXL litter box, fresh litter, and food. If we are adopted separately, the tree is first-come, first-served, but we will each go home with our own food and litter. I’m ready for my next chapter—could it be with you?

Story
Joey is about 5 yrs old. He’s been with me since he was just a kitten. He was adopted through the local Humane Society. He’s always been a bit of a scaredy cat. He doesn’t like other people. He will run and hide. He’s also known to pee on the floor on occasion. He has spent some time outdoors and loves it. I think he would make a great indoor/outdoor cat for someone. I don’t think he likes being holed up in my small apartment either. He needs space to run and catch bugs. He loves attention and being pet, but again very skiddish. You must be gentle. I have another cat (female) and they get along just fine.
