SHY CAT SPECIAL, now until 6/30/25: $20 adoption fee, plus a free wand toy and churu treat to help with acclimating them to their new homes! PLUS extended 90 day trial adoption period! Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Fleetwood and Tiffin, born 5/6/24, came in quite shy and are hoping to find a patient and calm home where they can slowly grow more confident and learn to love and be loved. They are great with other cats, and would likely be afraid of dogs and toddlers (ha). If you want a pair of shy kitties, Fleetwood and Tiffin would love to head home together for just a single adoption fee. FLEETWOOD (male, dark tabby & white, first cat in the video) TIFFIN (female, lighter tabby & white with cute freckle next to nose, last cat in the video) They spent their first 10-11 weeks of life living outside with their stray mama kitty, so have developed some "street smarts" and may have a better chance than some at a successful indoor/outdoor lifestyle, though of course cats are always safest indoors, outside with a catio, or with a harness/leash on supervised walks. Shy cats like Tiffin and Fleetwood should be allowed to decompress and adapt to their new home indoors for a long time before being allowed outside, to lessen the chances of a panicked race for the hills. Here is more information on adopting a shy cat: https://anticruelty.org/pet-library/adopting-shy-cat It feels SO GOOD when they finally approach you deliberately for affection! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $20 - SHY CAT SPECIAL (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
INTRODUCING VINNIE! This handsome little guy ended up in a trap when we were trying to catch some kittens. We don't know how he came to be out there, but since nobody in the neighborhood claimed him, we assume he was abandoned. He'd like nothing better than for all the bad times to be behind him when he finds his forever home! We think Vinnie is about 10-12 months old. He's been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and is a good boy with his litter box. He gets along well with other cats and would probably do best with a feline pal or two in his new home. Because of his difficult days living by his wits, he's a bit shy with new people and will need a little time and patience from his new family while he settles into his new home. Once he knows he can trust you, he's as sweet as he can be and loves snuggling and being petted. A home where he gets lots of time with his special people will make him very happy indeed. To meet our lovable Vinnie, please Fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-appplication or call Gina at (480)779-9208. For a $50 adoption fee, Vinnie be thrilled to start his new job as your personal snuggle buddy!

This sweet, big girl is looking for her furrever home.  She was brought to CVAS by her very loving owner that had to surrender due to allergies.  When you fall in love with Seri Mae and want to take her home she is a cat in a box.  All of her belongings were packed and brought with her and will go with her.  She is a very spoiled princess.   I eat 1/4 - 1/2 cup(s) of dry food a day. ##2239850##
