Story
This is Lucy, born on 3/7/2024. She is very playful and hilarious! She loves playing with her toys & cuddling up to your neck for naps. She will keep you entertained! Litter box trained. She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She would benefit greatly from more socialization! She has had her first round of shots minus the rabies and she has had the first round of heart worm preventative. Unfortunately my mom can no longer care for her after her open heart surgery and we want to make sure she goes to a loving furever family!

Story
Ken was rescued from our neighbor’s shed with his Mom and three siblings. The kittens have been living in our attached workshop with their Mother for about 4 weeks and have all been given their initial vaccinations and have been neutered/spayed. Ken is a neutered male kitten, probably somewhere around 12-13 weeks old. Though he has come a long way in his socialization, he can still be a little hesitant and reserved around people. Break out a toy or a Churu, however, and he’ll be seeking YOU out. Give him some treats, and he'll be more than happy to also get some pets. Ken uses the litter box every time, and has done so since we first brought him indoors. He’s ready to warm up to a permanent family with a little bit of patience and some good grub. If you’re interested in multiple adoptions, please consider taking one (or two) of his siblings, or the mother.

Story
The question isn’t, who would like to adopt Gary? The question is, who wouldn’t? A few weeks ago this handsome guy was found hiding in a hole in the ground near a bridge in Bear Creek Park in Keller. The following day we had torrential rain, and the area where he had been hiding was completely flooded. The good Samaritan whose dog found him, kindly offered to care for him while we tried to find his owner. As our efforts were unsuccessful, we agreed to put him in our program and she agreed to foster him. Gary has a chill personality and is very loving. He seems to adapt to new situations well as he appeared completely at home in my house after just an hour. He seems like he would be fine in a home with other cats, given proper introductions, but would probably also be a fantastic cat in a home with no other pets. If you’re interested in learning more about him, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com.

Story
Peanut and her sister, Butter, are two of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. Peanut gives the best cuddles and loves to receive attention and affection. She has been raised in a home with another cat, a dog and children and loves everyone. She would be a great addition to any family.

Story
Cassie’s story is heartbreaking. When she was around two years old, her owner decided she should be an outdoor cat and tossed her outdoors. For the next eight years Cassie lived in a barn, giving birth to litter after litter of kittens. When the owner of the barn passed away, a family member taking over the property threatened to shoot all the cats currently living on the property. At that time Cassie was living in the barn and had three kittens who were around four weeks old. We agreed to place them in our foster program. Cassie has been a perfect house guest and was a wonderful mother to her 3 babies. She immediately settled into her foster home and did not need any time to become comfortable around the other cats. The first day she was allowed to roam freely in the house, she hopped up on a chair under the dining room table and sat beside one of the resident cats. She is sweet, low maintenance and will make a great companion for some lucky person or family.
