Story
Garfield is 7 years old. We had him neutered and his front paws declawed as a kitten. He is lovable and enjoys playing, especially with a laser light. He likes curling up on a blanket. When he is not playing, he is rather lazy sort of like the cartoon character. He would do well in a home with a person who has time to shower him with love and attention. Since I retired, I go on vacations and travel to look after family members in need of assistance. In addition, I have a new grandchild who is displaying allergy/asthma symptoms. I will be providing babysitting services as her mother goes back to work. It's hard for me to find someone willing to take care of him while I am away from home. It's not fair to him to be alone when he craves human interaction. While I absolutely love him, currently my home is not inducive to his best welfare.

He would do well in a home with a person who has time to shower him with love and attention. He would do well in a home that is quiet rather that loud and busy. He will hide from newcomers until he feels non-threatened. Since I retired, I go on vacations and travel to look after family members in need of assistance.
