A Velcro kitty who is your shadow. Personality Harvey doesn't think there is anyone in the world who isn’t his best friend. He is so outgoing, super smart and wants to communicate. He can get frustrated if you don't understand what he wants. He would be a good candidate to be trained to use the talking buttons you see on social media. He often prefers attention from people over food. He is independent and bold, brave and affectionate. Harvey was big and muscular when he came to GNAR, but after being neutered, has slimmed down. He was very successful as an outdoor cat. Resourceful and generous with helping other cats, and sweet talking people not-so-subtly to bend to his will. He is a kitty politician. If you are a dog person, this is the cat for you. You could probably teach him tricks. He is attentive and wants you to please him : D Background Harvey and Necia were found as strays together. Outgoing Harvey showed up first outside of an industrial building where the employees started to gain his trust and feed him. Uber-friendly Harvey accepted their invitations for friendship after a short while, and soon started inviting himself inside the front door, so they decided it was probably time to look for a new home for him. After he then also brought his new girlfriend Necia to join him, everyone started worrying that there would be kittens if they didn’t do something to prevent it soon. Harvey was very protective of Necia, so they didn’t get chance to get close enough to her to see if she was also tame. Once the 2 cats started getting too bold and trying to come indoors to the office, the employee contacted GNAR to help find a home for them. So they borrowed traps, and brought them to their new foster home. Harvey continued to guard Necia, so the foster home separated them to let Necia show her true personality. Harvey also sweetened up more after he was relieved of his perceived responsibility as Necia's protector and provider. Description Umami is a cuddly, outgoing, affectionate, very handsome kitten. Personality Umami was confident and an extrovert the day he was found. Even though he had never been held by a human before when found at 8 weeks old, he had no problem with it. He was a bit scared for the 1st few days but as soon as you picked him up he melted into a puddle of purrs. He loves to explore and has no fear. He is very curious and is oblivious that some other animals may want to eat him. He will burst out of a doorway, run right up to a large new dog, slipping through the bars of a babygate to join the pack. Umami is talented at jumping up onto a counter to get closer to you. He is a daredevil, talker and enthusiastic eater. Patience is not his forte and he will make sure you know it. Background Umami was found in front of a house all alone after a big storm in southwest Houston on Mon May 13. His momma never came back for him. His finder brought him to a foster home who had 3 bottle baby kittens of about the same age and added him to the litter of orphans. He was just old enough to already be able to lap kitten formula for himself and eat solid food. Description Duke is a handsome, playful and cuddly little tabby boy. Personality Duke is outgoing and tons of fun. He does hilarious flips, and loves to crawl into your clothes and play peekaboo and hide and go seek. He goes limp like a ragdoll when you pick him up, and snuggles against your chest very happily. He spends his time wrestling with his sister Shenandoah, attacking the toilet paper, and playing footsie under the door with the dogs. Background After hurricane Beryl, Duke Energy electrical workers were restoring power in an apartment complex in north Spring off of Rayford. They found Duke and his sister Shenandoah under a pile of fencing. It wasnt a safe place to leave the kittens, so they called rescues to no avail because they couldnt take the kittens back to base camp with them. Elsa Rae is a true indoor cat. She is chill, loves a good sunny window, and loves her independence. She will cuddle and lay with you, but on her timing. She is up to date with all vaccines and visits the vet every year for her check-up. All of her records are at Kings Crossing Animal Hospital in Kingwood, TX. She also gets groomed every 2-3 months. We have 4 children now and unfortunately, we just do not have the time and expenses for an animal. She comes with a really nice Litter Robot -3rd edition, food, and a variety of cat items. We would love for her to go home to a seasoned cat owner that will love on her as much as we do.

Charmander likes to keep to herself. She likes other cats as long as meeting and interacting is on her terms. She is good with older children. She is 5 years old. We rescued a bengal last year and have tried everything to get them to get along, but he came on too strong and she didn't like that, so now they have to be separated or they fight. She does like to talk and will come out of her shell when she feels comfortable. She is a sweet girl and will cuddle up under a blanket.

he's lovely with humans a great and goofy personality. Very curious little one, but we have three cats altogether he gets along with the second one we got, but not the third one
