We have several great cats who would love to find barns to live in. They enjoy time outside, but also savor the comfort of having a indoor place to call home. Luna is such a sweet girl, and loves everyone she meets. she will follow you around the house, and sit next to you anywhere you go.

Nitro & Nitrous are brother & sister & are very close. They are so sweet & playful with a lot of energy. They need to be rehomed due to a move to a new location. They have been spayed/neutered & are litter box trained.

Was raised indoors, chipped by young former owner. New baby and cat put outside to fend for self. Showed up here, they dont want back. I cant bring in as my son is allergic to cats. He is sweet and just wants to be petted, although no one here can really do that so much. He deserves a good home as he is quiet, well behaved and litter box trained. Fully vetted and neutered. Please consider this bby who is forced to live outside for now........

Grey is a beautiful friendly cat. He lived with us for almost 4 years now. We recently had our first baby and our life became so busy with her that we are, unfortunately, not giving them the same amount of attention we used to, and recently found out that our daughter is developing an allergy. Hence why, we are looking for a loving home for him. He is well behaved, friendly, and playful. Grey loves attention and is a curious cat! He does very well with strangers too! He does not bite or attack people. He loves to sit in the sun and stare out the window. I am sure once he gets used to you, you will love hiscompany.

My wife and I have had Toby since Thanksgiving, he ran into our house. The first couple days we held onto him to try and find a home but I absolutely fell in love with him and had the intention of keeping him. However we already have two dogs and we were not prepared for a third animal or the costs that are associated. He has been to the vet, he had a general visit with the rabies vaccine and was cleared of any flees or parasites. As far as we know he does not have a chip and all previous information for him is unknown. We wish we could keep him but it’s just not possible for us right now. We want to give him to a loving, caring home, that does have the ability to care for him and give him all the love he deserves. We currently have a litter box, crate and a scratch post for him. He loves chasing around ping pong balls and people watching from any window he can find.

My next door neighbors feral cat ran inside her house and had 5 kittens about five and a half weeks ago. Last night the mom cat bolted out an open door and abandoned her kittens. They are little and cute but my neighbor doesn’t know how to care for them and is looking for help. She doesn’t have the internet so I told her I would reach out to a few rescues today. There were 22 kittens thrown away in a field in Cannon County Tennessee down near Murfreesboro.  Rescue people are desperately asking for help to find fosters to care for them and Critter Cavalry Rescue is more than willing to pay the way for any fosters who would take them in and allow us to show you how to medicate their infected eyes and deworm them.  What a horrible life they have lived so far and we want to change all of that but need help!!!   Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and we will respond immediately and be in touch with how you can help save them.  We will supply everything!November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Persimmon is approximately 1-year-old of April 2023 whose shiny coal-black coat really stands out in a crowd!  He is a sweet-tempered and sensitive type who was scared of his new surroundings at first but within the span of 2-3 weeks, he was all over the house and coming around his foster mom for attention and scratches by his tail.  Lately, he has with the cold weather he has become quite the snuggle bug wanting to lay on his person's lap with his favorite foster sister almost every time she sits down.  He hasn’t been around dogs very much but I believe with a proper introduction of a friendly dog and lots of patience, it should not be a problem.  In addition, he gets along well with other cats both young and adults.  He would certainly enjoy a similar-aged or friendly adult cat to tussle with as he enjoys spirited playtime with his foster siblings, but he also plays independently quite well.  He comes to you litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this dashing young man!August 20, 2024, 12:05 am
